hi guys. im actually new to this community although i have been reading the posts every now and then. I am a big fan of entourage despite the few bad episodes. My only problem is the episodes are too damn short and there are only 12 episodes to a season. Is there any way we can convince the producers to make the show longer? 1 hour would be great! thanks.

It would certainly make it much easier and less expensive to repackage the episodes for a commercial network if they would decide to do that in the future. I think they did that with The Sopranos sometime ago. -- Edited by Host_Tim at 11/13/2009 8:47 AM PST

I still say we get 20-22 minute episodes. Because HBO want's to sell reruns to mainstream cable down (FX or A&E) the road. 20-22 minutes allows for commercials without messing up the story. Sorry guys. HBO's greed is stopping you guys from getting more bang for your buck with Entourage. They could make the show about 45 minutes long. Allowing it to fill a hour time spot with commercials on mainstream cable. But they won't do it now. We are basically screwed by HBO's greed.

Hi amoure, jmagjr and rjrickard! Welcome to the Entourage boards! You know I can so sympathize. Just when things get going, its time for the show to be over. I watch very few half-hour shows and so that just makes Entourage (and In Treatment too) go by even faster for me.

I know what you mean about longer shows. Just when you get into it the show is over. I guess that is why I like to watch them On Demand because I can keep them going .

in any case, i still think 22 mins of entourage is too short. If true blood (which is so so) can go for more than 45 minutes, why cant entourage??? Mark Wahlberg and Doug Ellin, lets please see some longer shows! Either that or more episodes to a season.

You and everyone else who has ever watched this show wants the eps to be longer. Its crap, now the eps are 20 mins and half of that is garbage from new characters stealing screentime from the real stars who the viewers want to see. Good job, HBO, way to keep your finger on the pulse of your viewers(I'm kidding).

Personally, I'd love to see longer episodes and more of them! Having to wait 9 months for each new season to start is crazy. Entourage is really the only reason I have HBO, and I usually cancel it in between seasons bc there just isn't much else on it for me. True Blood was ok, and so was Hung, but I really only watched them out of a lack of better entertainment. Let's see 45-60 minute episodes with more travel, going out, etc in season 7.
