Ok, I was as sick as anyone of Vince being down. Really been since early in season 4 since we saw Vince at the top with Medellin accepted at Cannes and we were still uncertain if E was right that the movie sucked. And this has been a staple of the show.. tension over Vince's career. In the early seasons, it was him becoming a major star, then trying to get it back the last couple. Now that Vince is back to being a major star, there really is no career tension at all. So I would expect that we would just be able to live the life with Vince and the boys. The first two episodes this season gave us some of that with the Tonight show and Gatsby premiere. The race car and golfing scenes have seemed forced and not that exotic. Thus, my questions... Do you think we all miss the career tension? Without it does the show feel hollow? Do you feel like we are living the 'life' in this season?

It's even better when he runs hard for 16 weeks +. In order for that to happen, he cannot start. They need to start Felix Jones and supplement with Tashard Choice throughout the first half and give Barber a couple 3rd downs. Then in the 3rd and 4th Quarters, give the ball more to Barber and finish teams off with him. His style of play is hard to stay consistent when you start.

Since Barber stepped up, I'd like to see more running plays. Love Romo and all, but watching Barber run for 200 yards makes Sunday the best day of the week.

Well, this upcoming season should see some new plays and a ton of running. I'd like to see the entire organization play in December let alone Tony Romo. New coaching staff for two years straight made it difficult for everyone IMO. Losing Tony Sporano was a mistake nobody will ever talk about except in Miami.

Sorry Fan, I don't have time to scan for the hundreds of threads on the missing dramatic tension of the show. They must be after the first page. Glad to see you are fan of #9. I remain hopeful that I will be firmly in that camp too one day. Gotta see something in Dec before I put him up there with Troy and Roger.
