I wasn't saying Vince wouldn't be a star again but was thinking more along the lines of what Ari had said, that Vince was a movie star, not a great actor. I just think it would be interesting to see Drama get the critical acclaim and Vince having to deal with Drama being recognized as a better actor. I agree that Vince should be a star again.

Why do you want to watch another season of Vince struggling? The show is best with him as the popular, rich movie star.

I would love to see Vince get Drama a role in the Scorsese film. The role gets Drama nominated for a supporting actor Oscar while Vince's role goes largely unnoticed.

I think that "the great gatsby" will be a huge hit and vince will be nominated for an academy award but he won't win. He then either tries to revive the ramones project or E will find some new project for vince. However they will have trouble to get the new film. Turtle starts out dating Jaime but she leaves him for an old boyfriend, and he becomes somewhat heartbroken. E will start off with a new girlfriend but he ends up back with Sloan. Drama will continue being Drama.

How about a trip to Ireland!
Eric looks for his roots
Drama hooks up with a weathly farmers daughter and has to milk cows to win over her father
And Ari has trouble with closing a deal so turns to the Blarney Stone for help!
.....and Turtle gets addicted to Guinness

What I see happening?
Vince does the Scorsese film, hard to make but ends up being a big hit, gets nominated for academy award but...doesn't win for best male but wins best picture. Big let down but then Vince gets the Joey Ramone movie and does his best performance ever and pulls a Jamie Foxx and wins best male performance.
Turtle ends up moving to the next level with Jamie Lynn and gets engaged. X'ed out the job situation and the girls situation for him since he never gets a legit chick.
Eric Ends up being manager on the Scorsese film but then jumps to main producer again on Joey Ramone and when they hit it big hes redeemed for his mistakes on Medellin.
Drama Ends up getting a new movie roll and hits it big on the silver screen but decides to go out like a champ and sticks with his tv show opposed to take the movie route. Also he wins back that smoking hot french chik!
Ari decides that he wants to break away from Bab's but decides he wants take on a new level so he starts his own movie production company (like MGM) and handles a different side of the movies and doesn't have to deal with horrible actors anymore even tho its hilarious. He also makes Lloyd his number 2 in the company.
What you think of that?

OK.....all the guys get dumped including Ari, who's wife has left him and taken the kids to her parents mansion in Bel Air. During the shooting of the new film they go through a renaissaince like the old days. The film is released and is both a critical and finaincial Mega Hit. It begins winning awards and the guys take a wild ride of parties and woman. up to the Oscars.
 It could happen.

I don't want Turtle or Drama getting a girl. The best episodes are the ones where they're trying to get girls but fail to do so.
I want the boys to live the good life. Enough of this depressing garbage.

Here how about this;
Drama's ex takes him back and he quits the show and moves to France in the middle of a law suit for breach of contract.
While this is happening Turtle goes on a cruise with Meadow Soprano and the two of them get into all kinds of chaos and Vince has to bail both of them out in the Caribbean.

Sure, that scenario could work, but realistically a writer wants the characters to move and grow. I loved the return to his neighborhood. I thought it was incredibly real and true to life but kept the feel of the show.
I like Drama working. Why would he continue just existing if he couldn't get a bite somewhere. The character has stayed pretty true to it's original nature as, I think they all have.
I don't like the idea of the same thing for six seasons. LOL! I want growth, and depth and some amount of meaning. It's not Shakespeare, but it is one of televisions best produced 30 minute shows I have ever watched.
I was thinking about other possibilities and roads that may well not be taken. Maybe even a little side story that you may think would be interesting. No predicting just fantasising, creating your own dream episode.

I already posted what I thought would happen in the prediction post but I'll say it again that I want Drama to get booted off his TV show and go back to where he was in season 1&2. I think as a whole I want the show to get back to where it was in those season as they were my favorites.
