Bret and Jemaine have moved to New York in the hope of forging a successful music career. So far they've managed to find a manager (whose "other" job is at the New Zealand Consulate), one fan (a married obsessive) and one friend (who owns the local pawn shop) -- but not much else.

I'm so glad I didn't start watching this show last summer because I simply would NOT have been able to bear a longer wait than I'm already dealing with for Season 2. My boyfriend and I started catching the reruns in December and we a completely, utterly, HOOKED!!! I am DYING waiting for season 2!!!!!!!! Come on HBO!!! Put us out of our misery!!!

I was in the middle of rewatching onDemand. They'll reinstate Flight OnDemand, I'm sure, in a few months.

I, too, was annoyed to find that FOTC is no longer among my HBO On Demand options. Since it was the only thing anyone in my household watched On Demand, we unsubscribed. I was gonna buy the first season on DVD anyway - no need to kill it a month before the DVD actually comes out! It's a bit rude to make addicts of people and then withdraw their drug of choice and let them writhe on the floor in the agonies of withdrawal for an entire month. (Okay, I am not really that pathetic. I have many other interests, a social life, a family, a career... but still, it's the principle.)

Hey HBO- Just curious to know why the FOTC episodes On Demand disappeared on Oct . 1... We only met our Kiwis a few months ago and now we are in a drought! Don't F*** with the Fan Base, man! Is it a marketing ploy to boost sales of the upcoming DVD? This show is so funny, I want it to continue On Demand. The Comeback show with Lisa Kudrow is awful ( In my humble opinion) and you are still offering it to us On Demand even a year later... Keep the Kiwis!!!!! -- Sue them, just sue them... I caught the show on HBO On Demand this past weekend and I have to say, this show is hilarious! The songs are awesome and witty. -- "Some people watch things happen, some people make things happen, some wonder,'What happened?'"

I will riot if these no one on the show gets/wins an Emmy nomination for next year. Blood bombs and urine bombs and all.

The songs from this show play in my head all day long, and I don't even mind. I was so excited when I saw that they were already taking pre-orders for the season 1 DVD. I ordered two copies as soon as I got home from work. I don't have HBO at home. I got hooked on FOTC while traveling. I am on the road a lot, and most of the hotels have HBO. I have seen most of the episodes that way, but there are few I still haven't seen in their entirety. I hope the DVD will have some cool extras thrown in. An extended version of "The Humans are Dead" including Bret's binary solo would be awesome.

Just a heads up to all FOTC admirers. I was excited to see Amazon is offering the complete 1st season (due out Nov 6th) for pre-order. Would really love it if they'd also come up with their "HBO One Night Stand", as I was an FOTC "virgin" when that aired previously, and had no clue what a major fan I was going to become!
