Remember when Dave was throwing the party and wanted Bret and Jemaine to go away, "chicks are attracted to lonely guys. It's a psychological analogy." ha ha

The rest of "Humans are Dead"

The video for the "Humans are Dead" song in the 1st episode was hilarious, especially the 2nd part of the song at the end during the credits. I found the complete song at other sites showing their stand-up routines and wondered why the 1st episode did not include the whole song from start to finish. There are many more verses. Was the complete song ever fully filmed for this episode and just cut to make the length of the show work out? Is a full version with them in the robot suits out there somewhere for us to see? I would love to check out the complete polished version.

This show is hilarious - I couldn't be happier to see more off-the wall humor hitting the mainstream programming these days. How those two can keep a straight face while they perform is beyond me. It was ridiculously easy to relate to the absurdity that they so masterfully portrayed. I've had so many moments in my life where some background music and a little vocal help from my friends would have fit the bill perfectly, and these guys bring those kind of moments to us without missing a beat. Much success to the whole crew responsible for my new favorite show!

wow.....errrrr..... I'm sure you guys in the US of A have etiquette when treating a lady or taking her out etc? "Walking on the outside" of her means that when you walk along the footpath, the man walks on the street side of her so that any splashes from passing motorists do not flick up and dirty her clothes ( actually I think it dates back to the era when passing horse and carts going along muddy roads would kick up mud....this would be prior to paving/tarseal/automobiles). He is also protecting her as he escorts her along the road ( i.e. better sited to fling himself in front of her should a horse rear up,...or a motor vehicle run amok I guess) It's a courtesy thing....and shows respect to a lady....and more likely to win her over. Our kiwi guys are very polite The humour of it in FOTC is that Bret and Jemaine ( the characters) don't really know how to develop a relationship and so they follow formulas ( e.g. "what did you cook?" asked by Jemaine at the end of the episode when he was planning to get back with Sally) -- Edited by Guavablue at 06/21/2007 4:49 PM -- Edited by Guavablue at 06/21/2007 4:52 PM

This show is great. The deadpan humor is genius. I love the clothes and funny shirts that they wear. -- Edited by greghillz at 06/21/2007 2:49 PM

I've become immediately obsessed with this show, it's awesome. This show was made for me. In my ideal world, we would all break into song at random intervals, and provide backups for each other. Feel it, man.

well, maybe not quite, but you know "you're so beautiful" manages to be both a fantastic send up and a very listenable song. i was checking out prince's new song 'guitar', and setting aside his usual fabulous guitar work, your lyrics are better--not a bad falsetto either. the other songs didn't work for me on any level, but "ysb" is worth the price of admission alone.

To fully enjoy this show- viewers need to embrace a different type of humor. I thought it was a refreshing show to add to HBO's incredible history of good programming now that sopranos is over. . . I hope the show is able to get the support it needs to continue on for several seasons because it is absolutely hilarious! -- "...they pull you back in..."
