Desperate for cash, and with their band-fund box nearly empty, Bret and Jemaine decide to get jobs. Only Bret is successful--he gets a job holding up signs during the day, a problem since Jemaine refuses to practice at night.

And the first nuclear bomb working on the Manhattan Project. Hard to believe someone who can navigate through this forum is incapable of Googling Enrico Fermi.

Yeah, Jemaine looks like he is gonna crack up laughing at any second when the boss is calling him Enrico Fermi. I read that they improv some stuff and that the actor playing the boss and also Rhys Darby got Jemaine to laugh during some of the takes. -- Sue them, just sue them... It's my bluetooth friend.

I love the look on Jemaine's face when he's interviewing with Bret for that sign holding job. . . Jemaine is hilarious and extremely talented. "you have what I like to call 'the wrong attitude,'" said the sign holding manager to Jemaine...

Loved it when Murray & Jemaine thought out the pros & cons between Bret & the tape.....If you look at the paper Murray is writing on - under Bret he wrote "Alive". Hope HBO keeps this show running. I can't get enough of it.

For the past month, I have been singing Boom King all around the house and my 4 year old rocked out to my lame version. I showed him the video (minus the intro with "Bitch") from the HBO site and He was totally into the song and busting moves. This show is amazing and stands up to multiple viewings- you always notice something new. I love the sign boss who says Jemaine "overthinks things. What if a breeze comes? You think of that, Enrico Fermi?" LMFAO

When was the last time you heard > someone referring to Enrico Fermi?? Haha, I like Murray too! I love how he's so obsessive about the role call. He even added Coco's name to his attendance list when she met up with the guys in Murray's office.

Murray is a great character... I don't know why but, he reminds me of a high school guidance counselor. The witting is so unlike anything on right now, subtle and witty. When was the last time you heard someone referring to Enrico Fermi??

This is my first post here (or on any HBO message board). I can't get enough of Flight of the Conchords. The show is brilliant. Best thing I've seen since the original Office. The whole family can't wait for Sunday night to roll around. I have a question about this episode. I've seen performances of Bret and Jermaine on YouTube and was wondering if anyone knows if there is a full length version of "I Like to Rock the Party" anywhere. If not, I hope they do a longer version of it in the future but I doubt they'll repeat a song. Here's to hoping Conchords has a LONG run... Dan
