Mutha Uckas is a great song! I love it. Inner City Pressure is awesome. Murray is hilarious.
I really got to know Jemaine's personality a little better in Drive By. It was really cute how forgiving and unassuming his character is when Bret is sitting in the box and they are watching the Dog Show - and Bret's feelings are hurt over the racist fruit stand guy. Jemaine was like, "he's alright."

Does anybody know what Jemaine is referencing when he says "on the A.P." at the ATM machine during "Mutha Ucka" song?

Is it a NZ expression - all I know is Associated Press.

Funniest episode yet (thru episode 9).

Hitting on all cylinders - Murray & Tech Support, Dave, the fruit vendor, the NZ/Aussie rivalry, and the guys. The "bird montage" at the end, in front of the Aussie Embassy, was the perfect cap to a superior show.

A direction you don't like? I thought this was one of the best episodes, with three super parts:

-Albi, the racist dragon
-flipping the bird montage
-Leggy Blonde song

HI-larious

I can't believe Jemaine got nekked for a video, if he was truly nude, that is.

Thanks for the inside info. Hysteriem, I never knew that Jack & Kyle were the reason Tenacious D got cancelled. I friggin' loved that show, still watch the episodes all the time. Can't blame Jack if it was over creative control. Motha flippin' cock ass !!! I really hope the rumor about FOTC being signed for a 2nd season is true. I'm so addicted to this show now, the past 2 weeks I've watched at least one episode a night. A 2nd season would be a cream dream and make me a happy happy man.

Honestly, I didn't really care for this episode. That makes 2 in a row for me, and there have only been 7. I could definitely see this show taking a turn in a direction that I wouldn't want to follow. I would/will always appreciate the boys' stand-up routines though even if the show diverges from that completely.

Kryptothesuperdog:
I clown no one! Unless I do.
I was goo goo about the show at first. I really was. I admit it. And not only was it "not that bad", it was pretty good, bad acting aside.
I saw potential, which was quickly......gone.
The last episode on Sunday made me kinda mad, and sad, because I realized the show was just kinda horrible, and ridiculous.
And then I felt ridiculous. I hate when that happens.
However, I'm not here to put JFC down. I'm here for FOTC, and some laughs and music.
Any way you shake it, "John will soon be gone". Heh.
