Is it just me or maybe one of you has had the same thought that Murray ff FotC shares the same name as Paul and Jamie's dog in the 1990's NBC series "Mad About You".
Coincidence, conspiracy or...Jungian synchronicity?

Have nothing to add here, 'cept I see'd its thread title, thought 'er unique and figured it was time to push this one up the charts.
I do this a lot on mySpace. I guess that's why I've been banned from the message boards.

I'm not into smoking glue that much. Actually, I prefer to snort it.
But this whole Murray thing makes you think. Like now, I'm thinking of Murray the K, who was a dee-jay when I was knee high to Murray's orange shorts. Murray the K was into music and so is Murray Hewit. Co-inky-dink? I think not.
And we won't even get into Murray Slaugther (any relation to Sargeant) from Mary Tyler Moore.
And as to the use of said controlled phrama, why do you think my avatar is Bubbles.

You know, big fan FotC, but you've hit on a memory from me with Murray the Cop, from the old "Odd Couple" series. Al Molinaro was the one reason I could never truly enjoy "Happy Days".
I kept thinking what is Murray the Cop doing in the midwest? The sad part is I was 20 at the time.
Do you get the feeling that mein life has been frittered away thinking on the wrong stuff.
Thank God for FoTC to take my mind off of that.

Okay, how about this...Murray the dog on "Mad About You" AND Murray the Cop from the original "Odd Cuople" series and Murray's in Flushing Queens where my husband used to buy his kid clothes when he was a "husky" as they said in the 1970s. What is the link in this conspiracy? Perhaps we'll find out when Jimmy Hoffa resurfaces or they catch the grassy knoll gunman.
