Why doesn't HBO make a series about the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders and call it "Hard Knockers"?

After watching this series I rather watch them play than any other team. It is like you have really gotten to know them and want to root them on.

Were you a Cowboys fan before you watched this season's shows? If not, does watching it make you want to follow their season a little closer than you might otherwise?

Oh, yeah ... I forgot to add:
The entire NFL family was devastated by the death of Gene Upshaw.
No reason to keep the camera on Wade's reaction.
I'll bet Wade wasn't particularly pleased with that choice either.

I just don't want them to humiliate athletes, ya know?
It takes a helluva lot of talent to get invited to a professional football team's training camp.
The Cowboys draft room is under scrutiny in this show. Why was Michael Jenkins drafted instead of Kenny Phillips? Why would you put the camera pressure on the #2? Bennett was good in college. He has to make this team, no matter how much he bucks being coached and smiles at the camera.
It seems like an edited soap opera.

I was sorry to see Daniel Polk's being cut as the the "drama" segment. That young man got ambushed by the cameras, and I didn't think it was fair. He was invited to Cowboys camp and Dolphins' camp. He's a quality athlete willing to work and I feel that this show did him a disservice.
They did that on the first Hard Knocks ... following a player that was going to be cut to the Head Coach's office ... I didn't like it then, and I didn't like it this time.
If anything, this show has at least exposed to the general public that you better have somebody on the coaching staff pulling for you to make the team.

Madam, I've been a Cowboys fan since their inception ... since LeBaron was the starting QB. I had Cliff Harris tell me that I "used to be good" when I failed to impress enough at open tryouts.

This is a really high quality show. The camera gets some great angle. I love T.O. He dominates on the field. The press is always giving him a hard time but he's a great guy. Being that I am stationed overseas right now I don't have the luxury of subscribing to HBO. Not everyone is out to get something for free so being so hateful really isn't necessary.

Love this show. Martellus has this don't-give-a-sh** attitude though, and I think that's lame. He has the opporunity to be a great player..a great, rich, player...I hope his attitude stays in check.

I hear this type of comment periodically and my thought is this: Jones has been succesful in everything he's done. Football (see below), business, team ownership, family. He knows how to win--in various things. And many of the players (who weren't always great team types) seem to love him. Terrell, Tank, Pac. As far as football experience, see below:
