I was likewise dissappointed. Will Farrell just doesn't do it for me - never has.

We laughed at the Condi Rice bit and the "why are you the only one in the family with a Texas accent?" but overall disappointed.

It seemed slow. I'm a fan of Will Ferrell but I thought he could have done better with this.

Soooo disappointed. We were settled in with a glass of wine for 90 minutes of laugh, laugh, laugh. What we got was tedious, boring, irrelevant, and unimaginative except for the actual facts and the Bush quotes.

Will forgot that sometimes life is funnier than art. Bush said and did so many outrageous things in eight years that Will could do several 90 minute specials without ever making up a word.

Missed opportunity. Maybe the ending was better than the beginning. We got bored and turned it off. Even the delivery was slow and laborious.

RaRacko what a DBag. How could you so severely lack a sense of humor, especially if you're a self proclaimed Bush hater. Will Ferrell, with an 'e' moron, absolutely killed it for 90 minutes. I can't think of a single second, besides the cock shots, that didn't make me laugh so hard my insides hurt. The improv portion towards the end, when he made up nicknames, ices Will as the best comedic performer probably since Jim Bellucci (maybe of all time, I'll just throw that out there). Absolute genius.

Will was brilliant. (RaRako, what kind of comedy DO you like? Just curious).

His writing, his performance, and the improv ("I'm gonna call you S***-Out-Of-Luck!") were all top-notch. He definitely deserves an award. Oh, and he chose some not well-publicized stories about W that were, when given some light and thought, hilarious. (Monkeys, draft-dodging, mine exploration, etc.).

you wrote: Lets all turn the page on this moronic embarassment and move forward.

But first realize Will has left a bookmark in history as indelible as the crimes of GWB. What Ferrell accomplished was not humor but the most cuttingly brilliant of satire, in which all the woundings were unfelt [as in haha, he's just a comedian] yet the question [where's the blood coming from?] arises.

The entertain-me people who didn't find it funny are closer than they realize to describing Will Ferrell's writing/acting performance. It wasn't funny -- it was, in a good way, fiendishly brutal -- like the scoundrel he "portrayed."

Thanks, HBO, from the hinterlands.

To Will Ferrell, you have my undying gratitude. Your country should offer the same.

Will Ferrel Is a GENIUS !!!

Listing the Cabinet Members was like watching America's Most Wanted. It made my head spin and my skin crawl.

George Bush is proof that God takes an occasional vacation. The time before GWB was the Dark Ages. Lets all turn the page on this moronic embarassment and move forward.

You can't be serious. How old are you, 11? That was horrible writing wit ZERO laughs. Not even funny to the most extreme of Bush haters.

I was never a fan of Bush, but this was just awful. Not funny at all, just 90 minutes of my life that I can never get back. I am so disapointed in Farrell. He is becoming so type cast that he is boring. I read some of these comments. If these people really saw any humor in this stuff then they must have been on some kind of halluncinagenic drug. Boring and just plain Dumb, with a capital D!!!!

Will Ferrell is hilarious as usual. Its too bad that HBO couldn't test their live feed before hand to ensure a good broadcast. Good job HBO for being as inept as the president Will did such an excellent job satirizing. I guess the fact that it was live and stuff happens with live TV is the excuse they will use, but how come every boxing match is always perfect? Maybe they should have brought in the people that do HBO sports next time. Again good job HBO comedy, way to ruin a brilliant performance.

I hope Will Ferrell wins a Tony. He is an American treasure as much as dumbya is not. I was amazed to see he did all the writing. Even though this country is now in the wringer because of this clown, Will helps us laugh at the madness. Thank you, Will Ferrell.
