Having risen from office nudge and bit-playing extra, today, funnyman Ricky Gervais rules over our entertainment landscape. Now the Emmy® Award-winning actor and co-creator of The Office and Extras delivers his unique take on such issues as fund-raising, fame, nursery rhymes, Nazis, moronic friends and obesity in his first-ever HBO stand-up special, taped live in New York. I love Ricky Gervais. I was a fan of the BBC The Office (sorry, I don't like the US one) and enjoy Extras. Plus, anyone who ranks This is Spinal Tap as one of his favorite films gets an 11 from me! Since he's such a philanthropist, do you think he would do a show for the charity Young, Single American Women Who Find Ricky Gervais Cute? It's a terrible disease, for sure. It might need immediate attention. -- There's vampire in your cleavage (Pam, TrueBlood) -- Edited by Lovyan at 11/15/2008 6:28 PM PST
