Given the capabilities of HBO- I would like to see a good doc on the JFK murder and pose questions to President Obama. This is still a real issue amongst people who were traumatized by the bizarre events of Nov 22-25, 1963. The time has come for truth. This President is committed to open dialogue-seize the opportunity to ask real questions based on known account discrepancy. Also ask Arlen Specter about the rush to judgement before he dies. Don't just focus on the act- go behind the scenes for player activity before, during and after the killing. Thank you.

Question about an old topic

sorry for posting this here, it seems to be the only active board.
I've been trying to find the titles of two HBO documentaries I remember seeing years ago. I'm hoping someone out there, or maybe the HBO person who runs this board knows or can find out for me.
Documentary #1 had to do with Satanism. I think it came out in the mid-late 80's, maybe early 90's. All I remember about the documentary, besides it being good, was the opening sequence. Four guys, each with a timpani and a single guy front in center chanting the words: "Do you want...total war? Do you want...total war? The Prince of Darkness...the prince of (something)..." and he continued for a short time then the intro to the doc started.
Documentary #2 had to do with the sex scandel in the Catholic church BEFORE it was a scandel. I think it came out in the late 80's, early 90's as well. They talked about the first Catholic priest who died of AIDS, I believe he was from Chicago. I also remember a scene showing the opening procession for the Rite of Ordination in the cathedral of the archdiocese of Los Angelas. If memory serves, I think they also discussed a sex scandal at a seminary in California where the seminarians sex lives were openly known about (I'm not sure if that was covered in this documentary or another one".
Both of those documentaries were wonderful and I'd love to find them. I was a teenager when they came out and they intrigued me and their topics continue to intrigue me.
If anyone knows the titles of these I'd be greatly appreciative if you'd let me know. Thanks.

Do a documentary on the health systems in different countries. I like to see more on the french, cuban, and british health care systems.

I'm watching Brave New Voices and love it! But I'm new to HBO and so not burnt out by seeing the same movies over and over again.
I want to see more positive stories from kids from the hood, especially something that isn't about singing or dancing.

If anything about sex is always interesting, then I would like to see something on swingers. This lifestyle is becoming ever more popular and it would be interesting see how these couples decided to get into this lifestyle. Also, what are the positives and negatives and how do they deal with the normal human emotions that everybody has......Just a thought.

YEAH THEY ARE DOING IT FOR COLLEGE LMAO THATS IT!!!
I SAY I DONT CARE TO SEE ANY DOCUMENTARY ON HBO I PAY FOR PREMIUM PROGRAMING TO SEE MOVIES SHOW ETC I CAN SEE DOCUMENTARIES ON WEATHER OR HISTORY CHANNEL HELL EVEN A DOCUMENTARY CHANNEL BUT NOT HBO IT IS BAD ENOUGH THE ONLY TIME YOU GUYS PLAY MOVIES AND SUCH IS AT 2AM OR DURING THE DAY (WORK HOURS)

The Bunny Ranch...the only legal "whorehouse" in the U.S. I've seen some special reports on it, like 20/20, Dateline, those kinds of things. Maybe something depicting the life of some of the girls there? Showing us they aren't just prostitutes, they have families, some have children.
Or perhaps the growing epidemic of young girls turning to selling themselves to pay for their college educations? Like that woman who sold her virginity online on eBay or whatever it was? Pretty morally disturbing this trend. With our economy, and college kids struggling as it is to stay in school, is this getting worse?

RoDann, I apologize. Times are very hard right now. We do not get any channels or anything like that for being a host. But I am fortunate that my cable provider gives HBO On Demand for no extra cost if we subscribe to HBO.
I didn't realize until I asked a friend of mine is she had it that other places charge for that. She has Direct TV and it would cost her not only monthly, but she would need an internet connection to a new box. The box is almost $200 for the deposit. And it is a monthly added charge.

Ouch! You are an employee. I feel guilty having HBO in my house to begin with. I can't afford it now and it just went up another dollar to $15.99 and you want me to pay for ON DEMAND .
In these economic times I might have to give it all up soon and I don't want to. How if subscribers had a special webpage with player so we could watch some of these docs online?
