I am the editor of School Library Journal Teen, and would like to speak with the directors about the potential impact this documentary series can have on US teens, presented in an educational setting, and share an interview with our readers (approx 3000 YA and teen services librarians). Any chance that this message can be relayed to O'Mahoney and Winter? For more on SLJTeen, click here. - Thank you in advance for your consideration. - Dodie Ownes

Admins, I might be stepping on toes with this one but there are groups and orgs out there just for this as I have read a lot of the post in here and they all seem like they want to help and trust me the young men and women in the schools in Iraq do need a lot of help and would be very greatful for the supplies and equipment. But one way people can help is contact the State Department it has department within that deals with this. Then there is the international Red Cross, Chief Wiggles, or they can contact a local Reserve Unit if they have a Civil Affairs Unit in their State that is exactly what the C.A does or contact their local Military Public Affairs Offical of the Base they can put them in contact with even more ways. These were just some ways if people want to help, Contact Churches Then there is also Operation.Give.org So if the people that are saying they want to help here are some good ways for them to help. These Groups also help the Young Men and Women in Afghan aswell Paper Notebooks Pens Pencils and basic school supplies would greatly taken.

I would like to help the students and men of baghdad high and was wondering if could get an e-mail address or someway i could contact them to help them and their struggling family members. Above anything I would like to send a letter to every participant telling them to keep their heads up be proud and if they need anything send me a line. Before I thought they were all bitter and angry and the usual thing happens you find out they are just like anyone else except the violence and hate that go on daily over nothing. please help me reach them there os no hate involved in my intentions.

Thank you HBO for an excellent documentary! I too would like to contact the four students and offer my thanks and a donation to help them out. Do they have e-mail addresses or some way to contact them and say hi? They now have thousands of American fans who want to say something to them! Also, its now been over a year since the kids stopped filming. What happened to Mohammed? Did he finish re-taking his senior year and pass the exams the second time around?

HBO thank you for the chance to see into the lives of others. This Doc was very informative, entertaining, and very important to todays situations. Some day soon hopefully this will be seen in schools in US and educate some of the American teens whom think they have it so hard. The young men of the documentary showed great courage. I say my prayers every night but they are trivial to the prayers of the world. Do they have penpal situations for the four boys? i would like to write my thanks for sharing their lives and story to better the world. Thank you again HBO for your Documentaries they are needed in this world today. Genpayne
