You know what I would like to see come of this film? More than anything else, I would like to see a much, much deeper appreciation from the American people for our troops, past and present. I'm not saying we don't, but by and large as a people I think we take their sacrifices for granted. Look at Memorial Day and Veteran's Day. Alot of people look forward to those holidays because they get a long 3 day weekend. How many parents out there teach their kids to respect our soldiers and explain what they have done and continue to do for us? How many pull out a flag as readily then as they do on the 4th of July? How many actually make an effort and attend ceremonies honoring fallen soldiers? I feel whether or not you know or have known someone who has served you should be grateful and honor them. Who knows where our country would be today if not for them?

I made a thread about this on Real Time before checking here.

I only got through 15 minutes before I had to pause the show and go back another time.

I feel that as soon as he leaves office, Bush should be forced to walk through the 'saddest acre in America' and personally apologize at every single headstone.

It should be filmed and I'll even spring for pay-per0view to see it, as long as the funds go directly to the spouses and children and parents of the deceased soldiers.

My therapist asked if my family was always dramatic. Of course we are. We embrace it and you ain't taking it away.

It was difficult to watch but also humbling to a certian extent. For every grave there are 20-30 lives affected directly by the loss of that one person. Even at such young ages the loss is so deeply felt by so many. These stories were more moving than I had even imagined they would be. You cannot watch this and not be affected.

I cried like a baby while watching this film. My hand would reach out to turn channel but felt I could not as I owed these brave families at the very least my attention and acknowledgement of their pain and suffering.

When will we have enough of wars we can't win of sacrificing our youth on lost causes. I can understand the "war on terror" but not this. Once it was "Old Men Make War While Young Men Die" now "Old Men Make War While Young People Die"

I watched Section 60: Arlington tonight. I feel angry after watching it. Correction; I am more angry than I was about the war in Iraq now. I am angry that our government allows this war to continue. I am angry that we spend billions of dollars on it each month it continues. I am most angry that we are allowing a president who has lost most Americans respect to continue the war to justify his mistakes while he sits back and waits for his term to expire. I feel terrible while I watch the mothers, wives, children, father, brothers and friends of those young soldiers crying out with nothing but pain in their heart trying to understand 'why?'.

Mr McCain: this is why you will NOT be my next President. We will NOT allow another 8 years of the same. All the families of the soldiers who died in Iraq will NEVER care if the war is won or lost. It will never change the fact that they ultimately lost.

What an important piece of filmmaking this will be. The personnel buried there are great American heroes who gave the ultimate sacrifice. I think everyone should tune in for this one.
