Takin Chance worked on many levels and was quietly, yet profoundly moving. Regardless of one's opinion of the Iraq War, the dedication of the Mortuary Team in Dover, DE is to be commended. The respect and honor in which our fallen are escorted home is extraordinary. Many thanks to the production team who found and molded this story of quiet honor. I learned something new while being compelled by the storytelling. Thanks to the parents of Chance Phillips for allowing the death of their son to provide all of us a perspective of why the United States stands out in the world and what is lost when a single person falls in combat.

I couldn't have said it better myself. I think there is a lot of us who still need to see that perspective too, to put a very human face on our men and women in uniform. This film did that in droves. Incredible work. -- ********* Host_Ginna HBO Forums Host
