I know this is a little late, but I have been gone out of country and my Mom bought me the dvd of GK. I am in the Army, so I know next to nothing about how the Marines did things or how they do things, but after watching the first disc I can say the portrayal of how Iraq is was spot on, not that y'all needed me to say so for you know it. I was wondering if there was plans to do another season of GK? And if so have y'all thought about the Army? Nothing against the Marines, but I bet you could get some great stories from soldiers. Thanks for the great series. Hooah!

Hey girls! Sorry, I've had finals and been out of the loop right now. Yes... I hope they go for another round of GK! I NEED IT! LOL! I am so happy to hear that Rudy Reyes was chosen in MENS FITNESS Magazine as one of the top 25 most fit men in the world! I'm so happy for him. I know that he is in the works to do some shows and maybe dealing with Military... Nothing finalized yet though. I'll keep you posted when I find out. -- "Man... It would be intriguing to see more! With so many changes on the political front and expectations, there is a fresh perspective to be captured. More GK!

We still have our troops over there, risking their lives every day to keep Iraq stable. We would just have a new, fresh cast of fascinating characters this time around! I don't know about you all, but their stories never get old! -- ********* Host_Ginna HBO Forums Host

Hey Devil Dogs!! How's it going? It's been a while since i've been on here... I hope HBO will do a second season on GK... that would ROCK! I've been training with Rudy and I know that he still has reunions with the cast & crew so maybe it could possibly be in the works? I know I miss it!! =) -- "Man... It's always a great day when I hear about someone learning something new that they didn't know about the military, or find respect for the men and women who serve they didn't have before. My SIL is a U.S. Marine and just got back from Iraq this month. I know the pride you're talking about - I had it before but seeing GK (and reading the book) just reinforced it. These are just the most incredible people on the planet. -- ********* Host_Ginna HBO Forums Host

Outstanding Television. This was hands down the best thing I have ever watched on TV. I am currently reading the book, and then hope to rewatch the Series once I am done. The one absolutely amazing thing this series brought home was the fact these amazing men have to put up with, incompetent leadership, unbearable living conditions, office politics, and on top of it all not get killed, and its all part of the job I have a new found respect for the military, after watching this. It has left a lasting impression on me. I am telling everyone I know to watch GK. Thanks to the men and women in service. We will never truly understand what they have to put up with every day but GK brought us into their world for a short time, and what a time it was!
