I have been watching INFL for at least five years. I have to say that I feel like many others that this was by far the best Football show on TV. It is hard to believe that HBO would be so stupid! This is the main reason that I subscribe to HBO. If Showtime is going to take over the show, I hope that it will be with the same sportscasters. I will be changing over to Show time also, if that is the choice that I have to make to watch my favorite Football show.

This is to the Egg-Head that that thought it would be alright to take the One Really GREAT show on HBO, off the air! You just might want to rethink your standing at HBO qhen people start to Drop it like a Hot Rock that it has become! If I were you, I would think about finding another line of work! This has to be the Dumbest thing that HBO has ever done sense Cat House, or The Wire. Good Luck in what ever you do next, as long as you stay out of T.V.!!!!!!!!

Devastating. Inside The NFL was my first and now last reason to pay for HBO. Carnivale, thrown out of town. Deadwood, scalped. Sopranos, whacked. The Wire, tapped out. I've taken every one of those body shots, hanging on somehow. But no Inside The NFL? I'm done. Once you guys were an innovative cable provider who didn't pander to the lowest common denominator. Even if you didn't exactly reach out to your viewers, you gave us programming our brains could thrive on. Understand, I'm not happy to cancel HBO. But now, with the cancellation of the best hour of television devoted to the NFL, you've truly given up on your audience. I'm horrified at that, because it's more proof that American television is turning into a wasteland. But I don't have to settle for you, and I won't. Too bad it won't matter to HBO, but it does matter to me. For shame. I've bought my Wire "collectibles," and now I'm kicking you to the curb.

yea HBO sucks the movie selection blows they rotate the same movies in and out every other month if ya want variety of movies for a "movie channel" everyone gets Stars-Inside the NFL was the program that sold americans on the HBO! dont know why this happened but,it's not a smart move at all! even the boxing has gone to crap, but i blame "take the vegas fall andrew golota" for that flight of the conchords is hilarious and witty, but thats somethin i can get on the net or dvd! as is Curb Your Enthusiasm! after that ya got nothin, NOTHANG MANG! i got net son and im not afraid to use it! personally (this is just my opinion) i think the sopranos suck, nothin but drama, bunch of talkin and no action=boring! and now the living room /family show of americans the 1 and only show HBO had that nobody else could touch is being cancelled! here's a question who died and put the scrooge idiot in charge? cuz he need to be sacked! (no pun intended)! Inside the NFL is original and different every week, with the cast that living rooms and local pubs are made of! before i always thought it should be "on demand" and now im baffled at the stupid retardation play calling by the HBO staff,ya wanna throw in the towel well ya doin a good job of it! HBO is gonna lose millions on this move! any1 taking bets?HBO is goin down faster than cheney at a gay bar!?

***** This is a COPY of a Reply I just sent to HBO about their cancellation of "Inside the NFL". Thought You might be interested...... ***** I've been a subscriber to HBO since 1985. I've been a devoted FAN of just a few 'Series'. Of the series that I watched without hesitation were: 1) The SOPRANOS ("NLE" = no longer exists) 2) ROME ("NLE") 3) and most of DEADWOOD (I don't remember if this one has been extended, because I didn't catch all the episodes). BUT, there were very few episodes of INFL that I ever missed. Even when I missed the initial weekly program, it was entertaining to watch it AFTER the games were played just to compare how well their take of the team match-ups ended. I began watching Len and Nick and was taken with their compassion & knowledge of not just the Game of Football, but with their way of bringing the viewer into the FAMILY of FOOTBALL. If anyone watches ANY football game, they notice that there are always RIVALRIES between Certain Teams. The players put as much as they have into the game to succeed, sometimes you'd think they want to rip their opponents body-parts off. But, that's just the GAME. When that final tick of the Clock expires, you see them head for the middle of the field to congratulate each other. It's the FIELD OF BATTLE for 60 Minutes. But when it's over, it returns to the HOME-FIELD OF TEAMATES (past, present & future). Len and Nick knew this and projected that feeling to their AUDIENCE (US) and brought US into the FAMILY. When they passed on the 'Torch' to Chris, Bob, Cris and Dan, they knew that they were just extending the Family Caretakers. And they all continued to keep the show on a High Standard of Knowledge & Entertainment. I want to add MY THANKS to a Great Show. You will be missed greatly. Again, Thanx, DOO-DAH ***** P.S. Just a short note to the decision-maker to cancel this show, "If you were to make a decision like this in MY COMPANY, I'd cancel YOUR EMPLOYMENT." ***** ***** ***** ***** P.S. See You Friday (If everything is still 'on'.) POP

Inside the NFL is my favorite show... the ONLY one without commercials - great commentators - I never miss it - I bought a DVR to record this show... I am shocked and disappointed.

Can't believe HBO is cancelling "Inside the NFL". What was HBO Sports President Ross Greenburg's ("the chief bonehead") justification? The show is no longer unique. Well if that is the standard, then why do they continue to show movies? Those are certainly available everywhere. They continue to show them because movies are a major reason why people subscribe. The same with Inside the NFL. I think the chief bonehead is either lying about his reason or is just "New Coke"-plain stupid. This is likely about money and he doesn't want to say so. So long HBO - I can rent movies but Inside the NFL was unique to HBO.

Cable has on-demand, on-screen guide, and when it snows or rains satellite out, cable in. So if you live somewhere where it hardly rains and or snows you can shoose whichever. For areas with alot of trees and interference i would pick cable. IMO the only thing satellite has on cable is the sunday ticket. But when it's playoff time and it's snowing in most areas what do you do when the game cuts out? Cable only goes out with a power outage.

HBO is the worst! Why cancel this awesome show?!?! You would be wise to immediately rethink your decision and re-sign those guys before they go somewhere where they will be appropriately appreciated!! Don't cancel this great show!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
