I am so sad!!! I'm ashamed of my fellow Bears' fans. I cannot beleive they benched Grossman!!! I'm not saying he was the greatest QB or anything, but neither was Payton Manning in his third season playing for the Colts. I feel like that city could use a big dose of the JFC hope right now. Anyway, besides having a massive hangover, (needed lots of Bloddy Marys to keep watching) I needed to switch gears and see what's up with the cool peeps at the JFC threads and then Far starts talking football, UGH Just kidding, I really think venting has made me feel better. > hello all Hi A, whats up MBFAM yes the deeeetroit > lions whuuped dem bears > > -- > "Some things I know & some things I don't" -- See God HBO >-o

> ...and Phillies fans and fans of the > local football team are NOT comparable... How would you say they differ? It's something I really haven't given much thought to. Will admit to not following sports much. Phillies have a lot more home game seats to fill (80 +/-) than the Eagles. Wonder if that affects the type of fan who goes to a game. But hey, how many football teams have their governor doing post-game wrap-up. Gotta love Eddie! ahh, the phillies phans are great. they had a little party on broad st. after the game today. they were beeping their horns, cheering the phillies, waving their rallying towels and a little dancing. my 8yr old son was there video tapeing it. he had a ball. i hope the win for his sake.

I don't actually think any of those shots are that great. We were walking right by the Love Bus actually, right with the stilt walkers. They were pretty funny and at one point near the end of the parade they were pretending to push a car etc. Very funny slapstick stuff. It will be a few days/weeks before the good photos start showing up on the net. Everyone is pretty smushy today.

Then don't break in. SF is the city of love, but we're also armed to the teeth. An old man was shot in the shoulder during an attempted robbery right on the corner of my street about one year ago now. There was blood on the lampost where he fell for several months.
