OMG - I can't believe it! I just logged on for the first time in MONTHS and what do I see but Son asking where am I. It has been way to long - I've missed you guys and am SO glad to see the spirit of JFC carrying on. I still carry that with me. I've been watching Sons of Anarchy and every time I see Dayton (as the sheriff) I'm back in Imperial beach. Now I have to scroll around and see what you all have been up to...

Hey Sonra, Little Sister! I'm here, I'm checkin in as usual. Little more rushed these days, still tryin' to get out of our death trap of a house before it rains, a miracle happened to me, a fairy godfather, in the shape of a very old and dear to my heart friend showing up, right out of the blue, helping me find a place I can live. I just gotta get outta this city fam, I just need my quiet back, I need the trees and moss and smells and little and not so little creatures making their woods noises... He didn't see JFC when it was on, but he is looking forward to seeing it with me. And I, of course, looking so much to sharing this with him. I told him to not watch it alone, remembering how we all reached out, watching it, thought he might want to have a person slightly in tune with the whole thing around. Interesting to me was, when I asked him if he recognized the word monad, he quoted the history of it. I hope you all meet him soon, I think he will fit in here very very well. He's one smart man. It feels like sharing some really precious secret or something... -- Edited by cissyyost at 09/25/2009 5:49 AM PDT

UNITED NATIONS (Reuters) - The U.N. Security Council, at a historic summit meeting chaired by U.S. President Barack Obama, unanimously approved a U.S.-drafted resolution on Thursday calling on nuclear weapons states to scrap their deadly arsenals. well here i go again... do we really expect Iran (if and when they get the bomb), China and North Korea, not to mention all those little -stan states that cropped up after the USSR went down, to abide by this resolution? just asking? ...any other fossils out there remember the Cuban misslie crisis? what a trip! it was all the nuclear war 50s flicks and Twilight Zones wrapped up into two weeks... the eve of destruction indeed! say what you will about JFK but the guy had guts... nevertheless he did work with and thru the UN to end the crisis... in a weird sort of way it could've been that event more than any other that kicked in the Swinging Sixties... get all you can out of life while you can cause it can end at any time la la la la live for today!! well i do hope this resolution does some good... Shaka!

Two bits of news that put things in perspective and bring hope. UNITED NATIONS (Reuters) - The U.N. Security Council, at a historic summit meeting chaired by U.S. President Barack Obama, unanimously approved a U.S.-drafted resolution on Thursday calling on nuclear weapons states to scrap their deadly arsenals. --------------------------------------- BANGKOK ? (AP) For the first time, an experimental vaccine has prevented infection with the AIDS virus, a watershed event in the deadly epidemic and a surprising result.

fah darlin' it's the classic boxer's stance.... you don't wanna lead with your chin... eyes up and on your opponent at all times.... fists up to cover your pretty face.... one foot in front of the other in an L shape... and when you throw a punch aim for the back of the head... and its just like making love.... don't forget to put your hips into it.... simple, huh? i just said that cause i know what a scrapper you are! yeah, tis true. . . lotsa MIAs here. . .
