post 126 fdjfc Stupidity....... blessed be the stupid. evil makes you do it. Beleif is in ones mind. not heart,. the end comes everyday. Hey Faith, Seeing that Myle's wonderful 126 post came a day after your post I don't see the relation. Could you please clarify? Again I ask...What's the deal with these last lines? stupid - very dull in mind - showing or resulting from dullness of mind. evil - wicked, causing or threatening distress or harm evil- sin , a source of sorrow or distress

BTW, I believe Aug 12 was the 2 year anniversary of Episode 10. Who of us doesn't remember seeing that opening sequence and hearing "A Series of Dreams" on that fateful night? Here it is - in tribute

Maybe not so much about belief, but about what we might do with that belief. It didn't take much of a leap for most of the characters to recognize John as supernatural of some sort. But what they chose to do with their new found enlightenment was the essence IMO. Each, of course, in their own way, did something with it, but as a society (however small) they were kind of stymied. Interestingly, they did not "shout it from the mountaintops" so to speak. They allowed it to be put subtlety it in the hands of the commerce machine (which is probably the source of most significant cultural shifts in today's world.) Nice to meet you, Faithsfate.

John was a wonderful show. I see no need. bb is? Milchs whole story was cut off. He has spoke and told the meaning of John. It was not faith. fear. it was not about the ending. It's about belief. The word is wrote then old and then new. The new is now old.

Good. Feel yourself at home. I am assuming you liked the show, or you wouldn't be here. Would you like to chose an avatar from JFC for yourself? Unfortunately, the selection is very limited. Is that your first BB experience?

Ramon: You are getting hard to follow... No offense, FF, it's from "John From Cincinnati", did you have a chance to watch it?

faithsfate Having read these threads. I find remarkable waxons definition of faith. Have we lost our faith? If one was to lose their faith. How does one find it again and where? Who are we to trust? I can't speak for "we" but it could be said that I am one who has lost his faith. I don't believe I can ever fully recover that faith, those beliefs that were so much at the core of my upbringing. I do know that faith keeps coming round to find me. It might be there in the eyes of a child or maybe I catch a glimpse of it in a simple act of kindness that momentarily restores my lost faith in humanity. Faith never really leaves you, as much as you might try to ignore it. Who are we to trust? I trust that little voice in my head that lets me know when I am not being true to myself. That little voice that turns my stomach into a knot when I lie or act unjustly. That little voice that is always there, no matter how loud the din or how distracting the madness all around us. My humble opinion of course.

Hi Margie! It's been a long time! I am in Big Sur. It would not be difficult for me to just stay in CA. I won't, but I could. It is a good place for me to be. Oh well.
