I did post that I could not get a copy yesterday.... Today the bill was released to the public.... I'll give them credit for releasing it and posting it on line..... Now.... Who is going to be able to read it and digest it before November 6th when it will be voted on? There are several references to other Laws and Treaties. I'm attempting to unravel as we chat.

Jimmy - Four minutes ago you posted that you were being prevented from reading the healthcare reform proposal. I don't know where you got that idea, it is easily available for everyone to read, what you are saying is smply not true. Here: The Health Care Bill
Improving the quality of and accessibility to healthcare for Americans may be one of the best things this country ever does for its people. Unlike many other public expenditures, this is money well spent.

Senator Reid today said that the conference bill for health care is completed. Yet he will not release it for public consumption. He will not let me see something that will control the rest of my life. So much for the culture of transparency. LET THE PEOPLE READ IT!!!!!

(edited because I miss spelled Reid)

Ok, calm down...way down. Breathe deeply...

I have no idea why Sarah will be on Oprah's show other than ratings and money. Isn't money the engine that fuels it all?

Oil, what ARE you talking about?! LOL! World's oldest profession? Ok, which one is the "ho"?? Sarah or Oprah?

wow! some excellent responses there thus far!

off topic for a moment: did you see where NASA spent 79 million dollars to send a space probe crashing into the moon to look for... not gold or silver or maybe even some prehistoric alien life form, but ICE!! Jesus Christ Jesus Christ Jesus Christ! This country is doomed! DOOMED! Maybe somebody ought to show these idiots a map of the world which plainly shows ummm, two ice caps on the globe: the North Pole and the South Pole... and down here on Earth in the grand old USofA people are losing their jobs, homes, health and minds... and just the other day in Baghdad 132+ people were vaporized with a terrorist bomb.... who gives a crap right? And the neo-cons ranting about socialism... is this not the epitome of socialism allowing an agency such as NASA to go around smashing space borne SUVs into the Moon?? OY! don't get me started... you know how I get!!

I know I may draw some ire from others for answering your question with this question so let me explain that my question is only in regard to powerful men & women of the media and politics, and has absolutely nothing to with gender and/or ethnicity.

Do the words "world's oldest profession" ring a bell?
