Hi,
This is Jill from savejohnfromcincinnati.net. So I just gave an interview at the Snug Harbor Hotel to Channel 8 news, a local San Diego news station. They called after they received the press release. This will air tonight 5 PM Pacific Time. The segment will start live at the hotel. It will show the ad we will run, which they will be getting off of savejfc.net on the "Ads" page so please make sure it stays there. I also gave them copies of the postcard and teddy bears that were being sent.
Great work everyone!!!! I have to admit I was very nervous so I hope I did ok. If anyone in the San Diego area can please record it. I actually will be at work when it goes live...

IMPORTANT NEWS:
I took a chance and emailed someone who worked closely on JFC. This person did respond by phone this afternoon but asked that I do not disclose their name.
I now know that there IS a chance that JFC could become an internet type show or podcast. But we have to show that we have the numbers to support our request.
I was given this specific suggestion:
"On jmonad's youtube profile he has only 147 subscribers (friends)! So IF there were to be a new video added ONLY 147 would be informed of the release."
We need to get lots and lots of people to JOIN YOUTUBE and subscribe to the jmonad page, as well as all the other character video's, i.e., Dickstein, Mitch Yost, Shaun Yost, etc..
WE DO HAVE HBO's ATTENTION... and YES the threads are being read!

If you haven't already done so, please go the the site and hit the Digg button and follow the instructions (if any). If we get 50+ hits within 24 hours we get on the Digg frontpage and on their feed which will get us exposed to even more people.
And I'm really busy today or I would do this myself... I just got the new SaveJFC.net newsletter/mailing list sent and now I have to work on the video. If you read this please post this digg request on other threads, your websites or email your friends and ask them to help.

I'm getting it on You Tube now. I'll contact the other local San Diego media who did not pick up the story yet...

WOW!!! Incredible job in the interview. That was huge in the amount of exposure your campaign received. It was extremely impressive that it was shot outside of the hotel. Congratulations.

On a whim, I sent the email below to the Late Show with David Letterman. Maybe it will go nowhere, but you never know. Maybe others could follow suit, or send their own ideas to other talk shows.
Help us Dave -
Good lead in for bits on HBO and John From Cincinnati, and our struggle to get HBO to listen to their subscribers.
Jericho viewers got CBS to schedule extra episodes of Jericho - we want to do the same with JFC.

Wonderful, Jill! That was a LOT of airtime! This spot was great for stirring interest and support. With those clips, views of the set, and on-camera articulate fan, anyone should want to see the show (and help save it)!
