To My JFC family - My heart is saddened to log on and hear of the news of passing of those you loved this holiday season. I share your grief and know your pain. Two years ago I lost my mother a week before her birthday and right before the holiday seasons. And even though I am surrounded by close family my heart still grieves and I know the longing of wishing that that special someone was still among us. I will be forever grateful that I was able to stand beside my mother and share with her her last moments and to let her know in her final hours how special she was to me. When I feel the loss I lean heavily on this song and it brings my heart just a measure of joy to know that my mother did not pass without my letting her know how special she was to me and how much I loved her. Last year I lost my brother a few days after Thanksgiving. My last words to him were "I love you Bro". I want to share this with you my friends in hope that it will bring you some measure of peace in the same way that it has brought me comfort in times of sadness. And RN, Tears In Heaven.... I memorized the lyrics many years ago, I do love the song. Like Eric, I have a son there too. And it's hard, to know you don't belong with your loved one, that it's just not time yet.

Today, February 23, is my mom's birthday. She would have been 88 today. My niece turns 17. She shares a birthday with her grandma.
She's having a tatoo done today, she took mom's glasses, I guess that was something they had talked about. So she's using those, and something close to her, and having a memorial tat done. She's my becca doodle doo... she's tiny, like mom was. She's a lot like mom...
My boys, aren't handling it as well.
I am determined to be okay.
