Bill and Panel, What would you think about the Democratic nominee, whomever he/she may be, to propose a tax exempt status for life for all vets who have done a tour of duty in Iraq? This might be a great way for the Democrats to make in roads into the military vote. Can you imagine the heat a candidate who opposed this issue would recieve?

Mrs. Obama spoke without a script and said a comment about this being the first time in her adult life that she's proud of her country. CNN spent about five minutes on the story and the last two days straight on McCain's supposed affair/lobbying story. My question is, What do you think is the bigger story? McCain, who is a 100 year old dinosaur who more than likely has to take a little blue pill to even get it up, if he even can!!!!, that story, or probably the next leader of the free world, the most powerful position in the world's wife bashing preBarrack America. First does anyone really believe McCain could get a hottie like that, I don't care how much she was paid, I mean, thats like eating a hot fresh dog turd. Where the latter is talking shit on the country, I and everyone else should love. i know we have our problems but still we all have had an oppurtunity to make whatever we want with our lives, some more than others, look at Bill!!! Say whatever we want to say, look at Bill!! I'm just fucking with you Bill. I know that she really didn't mean she hated her country, or did she? And I'm sure she didn't grow up poor or in the hood so she can't use the race card, but is anyway, because i feel that comment was racist regarding all of our presidents being white. So is she going to go back on not being proud if her husband loses? I just think this needs to be talked about for more than five minutes and i'm really upset that CNN will spend days on something unconfirmed than a future first lady hating on our beautiful sometimes ugly great country!!!!!!!!!!! -- Edited by adam30 at 02/22/2008 7:31 PM

True, Republicans do despise her, and she is a polarizing candidate who will draw them out of the woodwork to vote against her. They would be much more reluctant to do so against an idealistic black candidate. The first one, I might add, who doesn't come off as an opportunist like Jesse Jackson and Sharpton... To paraphrase, "Help us Obama-Wan. You're our only hope.."

> Its the Bush crime family who is trying to steal the > election for second degree witch Hillary. So Bush 2 , > Cheney, Paulson, Greenspan, Rumsfled, etc. can be > pardoned for their crimes against humantiy, since > they are all related. Now THERE'S a conspiracy theory You're not one of those who believes in the whole 100-year, Illuminati / European Bankers / Skull & Bones conspiracy, are you? Skull and bones Yale U. fact, CFR fact, Bildebergergroup Fact, Jesuit Black Pope Fact, Central Banks controlling money supply and economies with fiat money nothing backing it printed out of air with nothing but a countries economy supporting it paid for by tax money after they take their cut of course hence US Debt fact, If your head is buried in the sand if feel sorry for you. Sheep get slaughtered. Tell me the elites don't control world policy and it is all a game. Historical documents prove they fund both sides of every war. You do the research since you are so good at it then post what you have discovered. I guess Hillary isn't a Lesbian and Bill didn't get blow jobs in the oval office either.

Andrew Sullivan (whom I've grown to like) made a comment about avoiding 'bloodshed and chaos' in Iraq. All the talk about the surge and progress is irrelevant. We cannot undo the bloodshed and chaos we've already fomented. Our continued presence can only lead to more. I hope Obama doesn't equivocate if he is elected. It would be easy to say that he's reassessed the situation and fears that withdrawal will lead to dire consequences. Those consequences have already been realized. They will continue until we say 'uncle'. Same with Afghanistan. Remembere Rummy and Cheney's predictions about how long each war would last? Shame on them and shame to their supporters. Sane people would stop the wars.

I must have missed this blog last night - dogg, do you think the civil rights issue was fought and won by us alone? Young brother(have to assume), go back to the library - and see the TRUTH for what it is .... Throughout history, you will find people from ALL ethnicities/walks of life, and positions therein. MLK and Rev. Abernathy, Andrew, Jesse, and even Rosa Parks - weren't alone in our quest of equality. And as then, it will take ALL to undo the clusterfuck we're in now. There are so many things wrong with our peeps today that have nothing to do with any other race - and needs to be addressed before we can truly move forward as a peoples........DO NOT PRESUME, that your service to OUR COUNTRY, was a carte blanc to say things like your blog, because this former Marine, and the 3 generations before me, that fought for this land, without the right to be human, or vote - know that without the contribution of ALL sentient AMERICANS - YOU WOULDN'T HAVE THE WAY- LET ALONE THE RIGHT, to be on this post. Young brother KRSone tells us truth - and true, unfiltered knowledge sets us free.

>> I think everyone's missed one very important point in this whole process. If the Dems are to win, then Obama MUST be the candidate at this point. I don't agree. >> Hillary is despised through most of this country, No, I think Hillary is only "despised" by Republicans. If she was despised throughout most of the country, she would not have been leading Obama in terms of delegates until just two days ago -- and now she is more or less tied with him >> Sure, the hardcore libs in NYC, California, and Florida will support her Except she isn't a "hardcore lib" herself -- not at all. She's a moderate Dem, even more to the center than Bill was. Florida is not a "hardcore lib" state. Usually it tilts Red. Massachusetts, Minnesota, Illinois, Washington and Oregon would have been better examples of Dem strongholds. >> but you cannot win a general election that way. Obama is actually more liberal than Hillary, so if it is the moderate independent swing voters we're going after, Hillary has a better shot at getting them, it would seem -- Edited by RollingThunder75 at 02/16/2008 2:31 PM

Really, have you got nothing original? I've only been on this board for one night and you're already repeating your insults. Idiot. You are so reactionary that you think everyone is a "rightys" (nice spelling, by the way), and you attack without any knowledge. I'm probably more to the left than you are, asshole. So just shut up unless you know what you're talking about. On second thought, just shut up.

I think everyone's missed one very important point in this whole process. If the Dems are to win, then Obama MUST be the candidate at this point. Hillary is despised through most of this country, whether it's warranted or not. Sure, the hardcore libs in NYC, California, and Florida will support her, but you cannot win a general election that way. Everyone keeps talking about these "super" delegates. If her supporters therein should override the election process with them, then what else could you call it than blatant racism? Where is Al Sharpton now? The Clintons are poised to use their cronies to submarine a black candidate. This in and of itself is telling. It's not what she will do when she gets there, but what she's willing to do to get there.

It's one of the biggest censored stories of the last ten years and the US news media passed on yet another chance to tell it. This week, Republicans stormed out of Congress rather than participate in a vote to censure the Bush Administration for not cooperating with an investigation of corruption in the Justice Department. What's the big deal? The big deal is that Bush & Co. did indeed politicize the Justice Department and violated the law to do it. The big question is WHY did Bush & Co. remove federal prosecutors and replace them with political hacks? The answer: They were setting the stage for the 2008 election fraud. Keith Olbermann- Special Comment - Bush, Dems, and FISA http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HDZVTlQJLMA Watch this video and see Greg Palast put the pieces together: http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=6757612420128645563&hl=en
