McCain wants to keep Tax Break deals with the rich which hasn't worked for 8 years......just what is he going to change. Trickle down theory is like the theory the world is flat. Rich don't spend to trickle down the crumbs to the working class. Why do the republicans hold so strong to these tax cuts.
Someone needs to take a camera to the streets and ask them, "what did you do with your limited tax break?" then ask the rich "which way's did you hide your millions so you wouldn't be taxed. The money doesn't trickle down through stocks and bonds.
As soon as we loose the middle class, we lose the american way of life and we move towards the third world countries which are composed of the "Haves and the Have-nots." When people have nothing to loose, that's when it gets messy! Check history out, from the romans to the USSR, you have to spread the wealth. EXON reported a 40+BILLION DOLLAR Profit, That's criminal unless you have protection from the top people, we know who that is. Open up the Oil reserves and give the working person an break for a month or two. Go after OPEC! Take the Oil from Iraq, to the victor goes the spoils. What are we getting for our investment. Just the threat to move in that direction would piss a bunch of OPECs off - maybe that crazy guy in Venzuela....Common people we need to take a stand against the oil companies, then the other big corporations who's greed is killing people.

i forget the man who wrote this, and i will probably slaughter what he said--but the meaning of what he said should be apparent:
a group of 10 will enjoy a spirited debate, a class of 30 will experience fewer questions (less than 6).
a class of 100 should expect no more than 12 opposing points of view--much less, "hands in the air" questioning what is being taught.
a group of 600 (average university class size) will experience less than 1/100th the questioning of what is taught.
1,000 people in a group need to be told what to do, they also may need to be told what to think.
10,000 people gathered for something, are basically clueless. they are easily influenced, and respond only to "mass" movements.
100,000 is a mass of people that needs to be controlled (any nfl game). they watch, they eat, they leave.
1,000,000 could be inducive of the million man march, they were organized, they were supposed to be upset/angry, and the largest words spoken from any bullhorn near that crowd contained no more than 6 letters.
10,000,000 people in one area might frighten even the most solidified mayor--but new york does its dumbest mayor proud every day, he just keeps spewing out the most calming and mind-numbing shit he can think of!
100,000,000 represents the average amount of americans that watch their televisions every day. these MUST be the most idiotic, dull, repetitive shows of splendor, and distraction.
1,000,000,000 people cant be wrong? they all eat rice, right (china)?
10,000,000,000 may not equal the end of the world (food- wise), but it should wake us up to the fact that nobody will be thinking about ANYTHING at that point!
---the more people you address, the more idiotic is your audience, i will enjoy my 4 freinds here at my home, a lost art in the making!

I say WE THE PEOPLE change the law right NOW!
It would state that any President who gets America into war MUST stay in the White House until he CLEANS UP HIS MESS!
This way he knows that the longer he draws this out, the more HOSTILE the American people get with the Ineptitude.
Knowing that he will be shackled if need be to his desk to GET THE JOB DONE might just "LIGHT A FIRE" under his behind to get it done.

If I told you that the number 1 and number 2 contributors to global warming weren't humans at all would that surprise you?
#1, TERMITES. Yes those little suckers are METHANE MACHINES!
#2, LIVESTOCK, cows, pigs, goats, chickens.
Add the ever increasing amounts of carbon dioxide and the like and you get accelerated warming.
Of course, like volcanos going off, Kracatoa, Vesuvius, and the odd airburst like Tunguska and the cooling cycle shift changes things for a SHORT time.

I think its sad that the Edwardses are pulling their children out of school for their own selfish political reasons. Elizabeth Edwards said that she is trying to keep her life as normal as possible - I guess that same thinking doesn't include keeping it normal for the kids, whose lives are going to be disrupted, traveling all over the country. I think that John and Elizabeth Edwards could be a advocate for breast cancer research, which would help more people than if he was in the White House. The time John Edwards spends meeting people along the campaign trail will not effect the average person's life; The time spent going from state to state will effect their children's lives - and probably not for the better.

Edwards children may leave school, have tutor

Iowans probably will see a lot of John Edwards’ family over the next year, his wife, Elizabeth, said today.
The couple plan to pull their two youngest children from school next fall and bring them along on the presidential campaign trail, Elizabeth Edwards said.
The Edwardses already were considering the move before last week, when she learned her breast cancer had returned and become incurable. Because of that news, she said, she and her husband are more determined to keep the children, Emma Claire, 8, and Jack, 6, close at hand.
“Selfishly, we love being with them,” she said, in a telephone interview from her North Carolina home.
Edwards said she and her husband would hire a full-time tutor to travel with the family. The experience would be an unforgettable educational opportunity, she said, adding that other families have taken their children out of school for mission trips or sailing voyages around the world.

the CIA is like any other business, as an employee you are only useful as long as you are, useful. the point is not wether reporters knew her name from Armitage or Libby or Cheney, it is that they knew her name at all! and the reason for such knowledge being made public! ultimately, an act of treason was committed against this nation, its' security and its'obligation to its' responsibilities.

Everything a politician does while campaigning is for political gain. If Edwards had not revealed what happened to his wife as soon as he did, it would have been dug up later and he would have been taken to task for not talking about it sooner.
I have no idea whether Hillary's chances are hurt. It certainly hasn't hurt in New York. But there is no way that she could run without bringing her husband into the campaign, even if he had never run for any office.

I never endorsed an Edwards candicacy. I simply stated that if he were my husband, a viable Presidential candidate, I wouldn't let him just throw it away, if fact, I'd be pissed if he did, cancer be damned.
Sorry, but this Philistine has to wrap it up for the night.

Don't call me a dumbass, dumbass. Bill's little rant was about the administration leaking her name. But THE FACT is that reporters new who she was and that she worked for the CIA before anything came down from the administration. Reporters have admitted that they new about her from Armitage first. Dumbass!
And not the name of everyone who works for the CIA is a secret.

Re: Edwards -People need something to live for, like their dreams. A true marriage is a partnership and a shared vision. Since she has cancer, their dream is even more important than ever. Those who have to face death appreciate life more and gain clarity to their purpose in this world. We can all learn from people who are happy to be alive.
