It doesn't but Hillary is trying to change the sanctions. Contrary to the scuttlebutt, Hillary did not appear until after all precincts were reported. Obama had tv ads prior to the election.

Tell me who broke the sanctions?

When you say "sanctioned" does that mean that
they are valid as primary delegates ? Maybe I
misunderstood what I heard on MSNBC last night.
I was under the impression that the Democrat
Florida primary doesn't count at all.

That's exactly what Florida did. Gov. Crist (R) supported the legislation claiming FL, the 4th largest state, a say in the primary. Odd that the RNC sanctioned only half their delegates while the DNC sanctioned all.

Also Crist had on the ballot his pet project, the property tax amendment. By having a "closed" primary and sanctioned delegates, Crist manipulated the election.

I'm not completely clear how that works but
I believe that Florida gave up it's electoral dem
votes by placing their primary ahead of where
it used to be on the calender. This was a sort of
practice primary for the democrats and doesn't
count, other than the show of strength for Hillary.

Looks like Florida went for Hillary
I'm confused
Is the democratic party even going to count Florida's electoral votes or are they banned? What was the ignoring and asking the candidates not to campaign all about?
Duval County in North Florida voted very differently
significantly higher for Obama.
Anyone know if Hillary will actually get the electoral dem votes from Florida or will Florida's say just be thrown out
or were they waiting to see who got them to decide to use them or not!

I have always respected you and your work. What I do not understand is why you and the other news reporters will not investigate about Barack Obama's connection with Antoin "Tony" Rezko of Wilmette, Illinois? Rezko has pleaded not guilty to charges of fraud, attempted extortion and money laundering, and he is scheduled to stand trial Feb. 25. Rezko had long been a fundraiser for Gov. Rod Blagojevich and for Obama. Rezko had received $3.5 million from a company in Lebanon and he has given thousands of dollars to Obama and other Illinois politicians. His bail was revoked because the judge considered him a flight risk. It was written by the Associated Press today. Why don't the news and you investigate this information.

Also why are people saying that the Clintons are the bad guys when Bill Clinton as President did a great deal to help the African American population? I am very angry that no one will investigate this connection that has been found between Obama and this man, Rezko, who is receiving $3.5 million from a company in the country of Lebanon. Why are you so afraid to bring up this issue and ask the same questions I am asking. Who in Lebanon is helping fund Barack Obama's campaign. Someone with the power needs to find out. Thank you.

Yup. And blinders are placed on horses in order to keep them running straight. Get my point?

on topic. There are screwballs in the forum without
enough sense to do that, I've noticed.

Gore all ready endorsed NAFTA, Bush out of his 935 positions of support, not sure how many those relate to that, but I'm pretty sure more than a few !

If he does I'll bet it's not Hillary. I think there's some
substance to the rumor that they don't get along....body
language, whenever they're seen on a stage together,
speaks to verify that rumor some.

The thing that clinches the Kennedy endorsement
for me is that Ted was one of the few Democrats
who voted against the authorization for the Iraq
war and he voted against the recent Kyle/Lieberman
bill.

I didn't used to like Ted much when I was a
Republican but his voting record against unnecessary
regime changes, that don't benefit the average American,
has been stellar.
