With constant reports of wasted taxpayer money and rumors of imposing new taxes or raising them, why can't anyone simply speak up to stop throwing more of our money to solve the problem?! "Not another damn penny until you make better use of the money you're already getting right now!"

Its like increasing the allowance of your pot-smoking douchebag son after you figure out he's spending it on PPV softporn.

I like it when Richard Belzer is on the show because he brings back the topic of Iraq. Do you think that the fact that there is so much media coverage on the up coming election that we are being forced to forget about Iraq.

Don't you think it's pathetic that while the Democrats argue about who can best change this country for the better, the Republicans argue over who is MORE BACKWARDS (Huckabee and the confederate flag, all of them and religion, etc)?

How do you feel about the irony that the United States, in terms of sheer tonnage, has detonated more bombs on Iraq than all the "terrorists" in Iraq?

Bill and panel,
Every member of both parties that are actively campaigning have extended political service and experience, with the exception of Hillary Clinton. What then actually qualifies Hillary to be president?

Will it take ANOTHER stolen election in this country to get anyone talking about the antiquated election process?

Why do the media try to keep people distracted on people like Britney Spears, Paris Hilton, etc and soldiers are constatntly getting killed, prices on everything has gone up and steady climbing. When will we all wake the fuck up and let this f_ up administration know we are aware of the bad path we are on?!!!

Hello Bill and all;

A comment:

I should hope that Karl Rove's prediction that no one will mention the war in Iraq heading into November will be incorrect considering that this war is basically what is putting this country's economy down the shitter in the first place. I would hope that the American people aren't so tied up in their own narrow concerns that they would, by and large, ignore the bigger picture. (Of course, what am I talking about? How did Bush get re-elected in 2004?)

What do you think...should I start learning my Mandarin?

Glenn in Godfrey, IL

BILL PLEASE TELL EVERY NEW YORKER THAT IF THE VOTE FOR OBAMA OR HILLARY THEY WILL MIGHT AS WELL VOTE FOR REPUBLICAN, BECAUSE WHEN HILLARY OR OBAMA WILL WIN PRIMARY DEMOCRAT PARTY, THEY WILL RUN TOGETHER AND NOBODY IS READY FOR A BLACK PRESIDENT OR WOMAN PRESIDENT AT ONCE: THE REPUBLICAN WILL WIN, AND THEY'LL LAUGH ABOUT IT.
THAT IS WHY YOU HAVE TO SUPPORT JOHN EDWARDS, HE IS THE ONLY ONE, WHO KNOWS WHAT TO DO AND WILL FIGHT FOR MIDDLE CLASS AND WORKING CLASS.
HE'S THE ONLY ONE WHO REPUBLICAN WILL FEAR AND HE'LL BE THE NEXT PRESIDENT OF UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.

Bill Clinton.
I think the people on the panel have forgotten that Bill Clinton had open heart surgery a few years ago. Being one who has had the same operation I am amazed that he can do as much as he can. Wouldn't you agree that you and the media can at least lighten up a little.
