That could be a good idea for a new thread.

I think I will start one:

"George Bush: Horrifying Anti-Christ or Garden -Variety Sociopath? Discuss."

Thanks for the idea!

Ya! That interview was pretty horrible wasn't it? Why did Bill have him on the show? Doesn't he or his staff research their guest's?...oh wait, that's probably why the feed was "supposedly" out at the beginning of the show!!!

I like her okay, but I dont agree

I would say Edwards has the best proposals and is the most progressive-minded of the Dem candidates

I TOTALLY believe that!! I pulled up the numbers ON Ken Blackwell's website (he was in charge of BOE's in Ohio) and did my own little tally using their numbers. According to the way they counted votes in Ohio, it looks like over 90K voters went to vote the issues and didn't vote at ALL in the presidential race. Coincidence? I doubt it!!

I agree with the massachusetts voter who says we need to go back to paper and permanent ink!! LOW TECH IS BEST in this case!!

On other quick thing on the hair salon thing...especially, since I sounded on it... I was not saying that the hair salon in the interview as a cracky-cream salon, I was speaking in general terms. I realize their were braiding and doing natural styles there...it was just in response to the original post. Just wanted to be clear.

Yeah. But if we don't buy our oil from the Saudis, their government collapses, radicals seize control, and then what?

I want to know how many votes out of the total votes each candidate made, and what the votes was for?

I do not want another president that spends more time on vacation than at work.

Obama is always harping on Hillary about voting for the Iraq War. Someone told me that Obama did not vote for it at all. Not yea, nor nay.

Another rumor is about Hillary working as an attorney for Walmart. Wasn't she the attorney when Sam Walton was alive? Sam was for American products being sold in his stores. Did Hillary continue to work with Walmart, when his children took over the business after Sam Walton's death? After Sam Walton's death, that is when Walmart went to Hell in a hand basket, by buying what was cheap and flimsy, versus economical and durable.

What is the facts about the top three Democrats. What have they done for us the poor and the middle class since Bush, Jr. became president? What the real record?

Forget about impeaching Bush or Cheney. The vote is nearly 50/50, and several of the Democrats are going to crap out and not vote at all. The republicans will refuse to impeach.

I want to know if a former president and vice president, can be convicted of fraud, treason, and perjury after they leave office? Any lawyers can answer this questions

I've thought about that also, but I don't think you could get either one right now to give into not being presidient and by the time one is chosen, the bad blood between them may be so great that it would never happen.

Senator Clinton is the most qualified, best-prepared, most experienced candidate, with the highest intellect and the most reasonable set of proposals for the country to date. She also has a great record of successes in the Senate, including bills written and the securing of bipartisan support for her proposals. She has worked hard for the people of New York. Very hard.

Of the comments I have heard from people backing other candidates, not one has been based on the issues or the candidate's qualifications. And some of the folks interviewed by TV-hosts Bill Maher and Jay Leno are downright incoherent - and probably should not vote at all!

The media is controlling the election dialogue in this country - yes, in order to secure ratings - but also because many journalists are too lazy to give a careful analysis of the issues, the candidates' proposals, and the differences among them, however fine-lined these differences may or may not be.

Americans deserve better. Being President is not an experiment. Our lives will be profoundly affected by who we elect - just as they have been for the past seven years!
