Hey Steve Moore. You went to the University of Illinois...where the terrorist John Ayers teaches. Does that mean you're a graduate of a terrorist training camp? You're a moron for even thinking for a moment that John McCain's strategy is anything more than despicable.

Has either candidate investigated raising taxes on non essential products? In 2003 there was $116 billion of alcoholic products purchased. Raising the alcohol tax by only %10 would generate almost 12 billion extra dollars for the government. That price change would translate to less than a dollar more for most 6 packs of beer...

Bill, Unfortunately, I must remain anonymous, which is unfortunate for this country. I am a gay man of nearly 50 happily married to my partner for 7 years. We are not rich, we earn an honest living, each under $50K a year. We have worked hard to pay off old debt and have done so. We enjoyed a trip to Europe. Since our ideas of America have changed since that trip, we have thought of your "exit" strategy. This country has become too big and too diverse to be governed by the institution we have. This election will divide the country, better or worse. Democracy was never intended for the number of people now in this country. Even the representative democracy we have is overwhelmed by the size of itself. It cannot govern this many free-wheeling individuals, most of which are too selfish AND GREEDY to pay attention to what is going on. I have overcome drug addiction, alcohol addiction, HIV, cancer. What I as an American am facing am tired of having to fight. If the government cannot do the right thing, left or right, it is time to leave and find a place that will! I am willing to work, willing to pay my fair share of taxes, and not suck the life out of the rest of the public like so many Americans do. This life of entitlement, believing and living like others OWE me, is just plain stupid and exhausting. We see it everyday, and it is getting disgusting! At least in Europe, people seem to treat each other fairly, willing to go an extra mile to help, knowing that they will get the same if needed. And knowing that they will return to work, return to being a productive member of society, when able to do so. Here, people get onto entitlements, get "pork" or "earmarks" like they deserve it - FOR HAVING DONE NOTHING!

Do you agree with Frank Shaeffer" in his article in the Baltimore Sun Oct. 10, 2008 when he says "John McCain and Sarah Palin, you are playing with fire, and you know it. You are unleashing the monster of American hatred and prejudice, to the peril of all of us. You are doing this in wartime. You are doing this as our economy collapses. You are doing this in a country with a history of assassinations. Change the atmosphere of your campaign. Talk about the issues at hand. Make your case. But stop stirring up the lunatic fringe of haters, or risk suffering the judgment of history and the loathing of the American people - forever. We will hold you responsible. " I believe this article was the only reason John McCain corrected a woman who said Obama was an Arab.

It seems the Republicans are getting more defensive, and less intelligent, as their candidates gradually lose ground in the polls. This Steve Moore character that was on tonight was frankly....obnoxious. If he is in some way representative of the Republican way of thinking - fixated on his party, its candidates, its policies, and some 'acceptable' lifestyle and approach to Life the rest of us should follow - it is no wonder our government is broken, the economy is in the shitter, and we are destroying countries at will to keep our military employed. I can't watch the debates any more than I can watch the President talk - there simply aren't enough intelligent people in the room.

Its funny even big money like Bill Gates and Warren Buffet are saying that they can get away without paying taxes because of the current administration helps them pay less then the average middle class pearson but they feel that they should be paying more and do not like they way things are right now. Documentary "Gates and Buffet go back to school". Even the filthy rich agree with Obama. -- Edited by swompthing at 10/10/2008 9:23 PM PDT

Why did Waters weasel out of the question about the hearings in 2004(H.R 1409)? Frank, Waters, Meeks, Clay and other democratic clowns shot down the regulation. Waters kept talking about 2007... she's a joke!

I lived in DC and worked in Congress. R's are drunks in the corner's of bars, hiding from Jesus. Then they repent on Sunday. Dems don't live in denial.

OMG... I completely, and totally agree. During the entire debate, every time McCain said, my "friends", I wished that I could smack that condesending, anal retentive smile right off of his toy soldier face. Can anyone say NO to plastic????

I love this country like queen and country my country comes first, it is sad to know what is going on the economy the deficit and the ability for us to get out of this situation. I hate the fact that we might one day be own by another country if we ourself could not pay the foreign debt are we to be a 3 world country in the future. America wake up we are leaving a a shadow of our own reputation just because we where one day the great power does not makes us invincible and free from this crisis that the world is experiencing. WE NEED MORE REGULATION MY 401K IS DOWN AND MY STOCKS ARE WORST HOW CAN I TELL MY CHILDREN THEY CANT GO TO COLLEGE.

I wish you guys would talk about what the gentleman touched upon briefly in the beginning in the show. The fact that Diebold (most famous for making atm machines) is responsible for creating most of the electronic voting machines being rolled out throughout this election.
