Ok Bill and Panel: Now when will you and the media call Obama mutli-racial, or bi-racial ? He is not a sole African-American. He was not born in Africa. He is bi-racial plain and simple. Does the media do this to appease the black community ? Suddenly if you have one iota of black in you, you are automatically classified as African-American ?

As a resident of a state that loves to hunt (and normally sways republican as a result) I think it would be wise for Obama to put Americans at ease about his plans for gun control. Granted, Wisconsin doesn't hunt wolves from helicopters or puppies for sport, but they do like to pack their freezers with venison and turkey for the winter. Do you think that this is something that would be addressed early on or will take the back burner to the war and the economy? It may help him get more support if he were to somehow work with the NRA and it's members. Oh and I am not republican, Wisconsin is. This is actually the first time I have voted since 1994, I voted for Obama but don't vote party, just right candidate. How do we know this isn't just the movie "Trading Places" with the rich white guys deciding to experiment with the lives of a white aristocrat and a black guy who grew up on the streets ... with Al Franken as Baggage handler #1

Here's a thought, there are 305 million Americans. The Government is planning to give 700 Billion to our Financial Institutions as a reward for there greed. The regular folk loses there home, there car, there job and there dignity. If each American was given 2 million each we could pay for our homes, our credit cards( which would save the banks) ,and we could afford Healthcare. This would only cost the Government 610 million. Now that is a Stimulas Package!!!

Do you think Senator Lieberman will play ball with the Obama administration, or officially go Republican?

McCain kept saying he was a Leader and had leadership experience, and that Barack didn't. But really in the military you don't learn to lead, just to follow orders. True leadership is when, those you lead can just say FUCK YOU! If they don't want too. So really Barack as a community organizer, was MORE of a leader, because NONE of those people he organized, HAD to follow his lead, but CHOSE to follow his lead.

I've thought more about what many commented on last weeks overtime, and i agree. Get rid of Amy Holmes, she's just a judas for hire, the stuff she says, NEVER makes sense, her only credentials on CNN, is CNN correspondent, thus really just making money by being a black woman Republican. -- Edited by jkdebrine at 11/07/2008 8:15 PM PST

Why in the fuck is Howie Mandel on the panel? I go out of my way to avoid the twit and his witless chatter. Now I have to see him interrupt my favorite show...after Trueblood and Maher finish their run, HBO will be terminated and we will stay glued to Showtime which seems to be accepting stronger talent these days...gawd, who is in charge of panel casting at Real Time? Fire the fucks asap...there have been too many dull and pointless panel members...like McCain choosing Palin, the panel is so lop-sided sometimes that it makes for an uncomfortable atmosphere...enter Mandel. Exit Steelyden.

Sounds like a logical solution to me. I always thought separation of church and state meant the government could not tell the church how to worship and the church could not tell the government how to govern. > I have a suggestion...let's take the word 'marriage' > off the table. If we say that we have a separation > of church and state, in the eyes of the government > ALL unions of 2 people would be civil unions...let > religion have marriage. That way, if you object to > same sex unions, the ONLY reason is that you are a > homophobes...if you want to get married, go to a > church...and EVERYONE can get a civil union. -- Aquaria

For Paul Begala, With the supposed experience in energy that Sarah Palin touted as one of her many strengths, do you think it might have helped the McCain camp to adopt the Pickens Plan and use that more on the stump? And now that Obama is the President Elect and Rahm already working with T. Boone Pickens, do you think he will go with the plan 100% or pick and choose the parts that are more earth friendly? Re: Victory is now, but the next 4 years are crucial

Now that the moment of truth has come and a victory so diligently fought for is won, the same people who brought us to this moment must not stop and lay back in the glow of hope and joy. Rest assured the opposing Republicans are already planning their come back strategies, and if our new president elect, his cabinet and his congress fail to maintain the momentum they have created and gained, this could just be a respite before another great storm of stupidity. The snake always lies hissing in the grass, so all of us who waited, wanted and worked for this monumental moment of victory can not afford to sit back and relax. If we truly want to support our newly elected president, we all have to work together, harder than ever. Do you and your panel agree? -- Aquaria -- Edited by Aquaria at 11/07/2008 7:23 PM PST -- Edited by Aquaria at 11/08/2008 12:52 PM PST
