Last week was the first time ever that I did not finish a Real Time episode. The guests continued to get away with their own interpretations of what Barack Obama had said and done. I was surprised that Bill let them get away with so much and couldn't continue watching in case it got worse.
I'm hoping Bill will be back to himself this week.

2nd , the PEW center released stats on americans locked up, we are a prison nation and that is mainly due to the war on drugs,
we need a serious discussion to get the Topic in the presidential race, as of now no one has challenged them to this issue and what they will do to fix it.

What does the panel think of of the U.S. House panel investigating the Center of Disease Control suppressing a report about potential health threats near 26 heavily polluted areas in the Great Lakes region?
What does the panel think of the British media saying there will be blood on Matt Drudge's hands if Prince Harry or anyone from his regiment is attacked after breaking the media blackout on his serving in Afghanistan?

Bill & Guests,
What do you think about blacks turning their loyalty away from Clinton and years of devotion to her policies of equal rights and needs for them? I think that if a black is pressured to vote for a black and turn away from previous commitments to a candidate and their policies they have been supporting for years that this is REAL RACISM! What is Racism anyway? Or does the definition only come from a black?

It has ben in the news alot, why can't one canidate talk about all the crap companies put in the food people eat?
I've heard personal interviews about how and what they eat, but what about the people their trying to represent in this country

In America, the taxpayers pay for corn to be grown, overgrown, not-grown, and grown again through subsidies. THEN we are asked to buy the food we payed for four times already. Many other agricultural products are also greatly subsidised. Since the taxpaying citizens have already payed for our food so many times before we have to buy it at the store, shouldn't American citizens just get over the illusion that we have a working free market and demand that food be given to everyone in America (and around the world) for free?

Why is it that no one is calling bush out on the current state of the economy? Does no one remember him stating that everyone should have a home (whether they could afford one or not mind you)as he endoresed the practices he was fully aware of in the mortgage industry?

DO you think that americans are Starving from Nutritition .
Meaning that the food we are eating today is better for us than was 20 years ago . Why Or Why Not And
Why Does not one cadidate for president has not talked about this subject .

Hi mglatt, I wish we could chat, one on one, because you seem to have some misconceptions about Barack Obama.,Firstly, Barack is a black man (duh, yes he is), there is still fear of the black man in the USA, (unfortunate, but true) esp one who could be in control of the U.S.A. Secondly, we knew back in 2004, that Hillary was going to run for the Presidency, and we all accepted it, even though some of US had misgivings about the idea of BILL CLINTON being back in the White House. Now, I don't have a fear of BILL, but most Evangelical Christians do, (out of a fear of their sexuality) and as we both know, they CAN elect a President with their vote. Now lets look at Barack Obama, he IS...a Christian...he has Muslim ties, (father and grandfather), he is open for change on how the Govt works and does businesss. He doesn't have the stigma of the sexual impropriety that the Christians associate with BILL CLINTON, which makes Bill a liability to Hiliary. So, lets elect someone who can REALLY make a positive, progressive , necessary and welcomed change to the Nation.

Hi Bill, can you or any of your panelists please explain to me what the term "two stepping" means? I'm being told that, here in Texas at least, one can early vote or vote on Super Tuesday and then vote again at a caucus, thereby having their vote count twice. That sounds too much like double dippin' in the guacamole to me!

Question about Obama for tonight's show

So Obama has topped his 1 million mark in terms of donors...mostly small donors, at that. Wouldn't it be REFRESHING to see him announce that he no longer needs any more money, thank those who gave their small amounts in large numbers, and then ask them to help out his campaign in other ways? Volunteering to go door to door, talking to friends and neighbors about Obama, and other such things? He could take the public financing, show McCain he meant it, and put a whole new face on the presidential race. No more corporate money in politics!
