Yes, but did you see Bill R. on the Today show last week? New Mexico voted for Hilary by over 1,100 votes, but Bill completely tripped over himself when confronted (rightfully so) by Matt Lauer, when he asked, " so you say the Democrats should ultimately vote in line with their constituency, yet your own state voted for Hilary." Bill stumbled at best, and ultimately concluded with "yes but that was only 1%."

Well we might have very many more close calls like NM was, and will the superdelegates really commit to what they say they are going to do? I really do fear that the democrats do not realize how much they are splintering support amongst their own voters.

I'm from NM and I also have to say that yes, Bill's beard is just plan odd and weird. He just showed up with it!

I generally watch Def Comedy Jam after Bill Maher. One thing I noted a couple weeks ago was the comedians that were on one night that included the white people in their audience and where happy they were there. When many times they still talk what could be derived as anti-white. I don't sweat any of it. But this night, I had hope that the people of this country was looking at a new life together. I thought if this is what Obama can do for this country. I want it. I want peace with all America. I don't want or to see anymore racial issues. I enjoy too many aspects of all people to say I don't enjoy and like this show and love these people of our country. I don't even want to say Black or White comedians. I just don't I love them all they are funny. I enjoy laughter. I enjoy Whoopie, I enjoy Bill, I enjoyed Bill Cosby way back when, I enjoy Richard Pryor, I enjoyed Johnny Carson, I enjoy all. I just wanted to say didn't anyone else note that night on DEF Comedy Jam when everyone in the audience was welcomed and the forum was not about race. It was great.

I know this is not on subject tonight. I know much of what I say is not on the forum. But I have questions about things. I just don't think this Reverend should get away with this talk. I don't think anyone who is in front of a crowd doing public speaking should ever be allowed to talk this way. We have to get by things. And not backslide. Please let us pass those who see no color. Please let us pass and be one.

Tavis,

As a long time viewer or your program who records every showing, I would like first to commend you for your courage and brilliance. Your interviews have shown you to be a genuine listener. I respect and appreciate those qualities very much.

I am from New Castle, In. and wonder where you have lived in the Hoosier state.

Your comments comparing Martin Kings' words with Rev. Wright once again showed you to be a person who know wherof he speaks.

I am also a supporter of PBS; thank you!

That said (I've picked this one up from my favorite guy on TV), keep up the work. You are a gem.

Gail

The Demise of "Bear" is the consolidation of money by this new world order - JP Morgan Chase and the Federal reserve both are in the same bag. The $$ is being stuffed into a tighter group of share holders!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is sad to see what our society is becoming, we are stuck in a state of mind where perception outweighs reality by an overwhelming margin. In my opinion perception is the root of all stupity, ignorance and evil in this country . We are more pre occupied by what other people think than what is reality.

This adminstration has perpetuated and stimulated a false perception for years and we have sucked it right up. The fact that John McCain is looking like the front runner we are primed to suck it up for another 4 years. The man is backed by Bush who currently has his lowest approval rating during his presidency, is in the midst of a recession, a war that is going to cost us trillions of dollars, a school system that has regressed dramatically, private co. bailouts that are costing americans billions twice over (1st when the unregulated mortgage and financial co.'s used predatory practices to put YOU the average americans in bad laons and now a 2nd time when OUR tax dollars are being used to bail them out of the same bad loans that has increased the foreclosure rate to near unprecedented levels).

When are we going to learn? Probably never because becuase we perceive change to be far fetched or unrealistic when the reality is change is needed now, more than ever and if u can't see that then u are doomed to repeat the mistakes of the past. And will have no one to blame but the person in the mirror.

Ted Kennedy, too in Mass, should vote for who his state went for.
I am not amazed she is not trying to help Hillary.A power play?

without news, you wouldn't have had anything to watch.
Kissing Obama's ass doesn't make him a better candidate and bashing Clinton all night; every show doesn't either.

Ahhhh, Travis Smiley's perspective was very refreshing. Loved how he exposed the double standards and contrasted Wright and King, and Wright and Buchanon. I too, will support the candidate who best represents my interests. Candidates telling the truth would be an added plus, yet my skepticism about this sometimes get the best of me. thanks Travis, keep bring us back to the issues, and reminding us what it really means to be an american.

Irishman- Do you have your job because of your skin color or ethnicity? Sounds like you think you do. Hiring managers hire the most competent dedicated people they can attract--- that is HOW they make the big $$$$. Hiring an incompetent fool just because he is the same race or gender would send these greedy corps. you reference into financial collapse.
