Sorry - but that's the kids and their thing and I agree it's awful - but I don't listen to it or know many of the names - but there are a great many of us who do listen to other types of music - so, in every culture there is good and bad and one shouldn't lump a group of people together

Isn't Colin Powell a republican? The repubs never appoint democrats to office do they? Or to the Supreme Court (really, I don't know).Why would a democrat appoint a repub to office? appointments are paybacks for support .Sure , it Should be the best person for the job regardless of party affiliation,but when has that happened in recent history.

Powell left because he found out that he had been lied to and used by Bush & Cronies Inc. because he had a reputation for being honest and the UN members would believe him if the info came from him. He was one of the few who actually had some honor.

Until we all get on the same page and put the issues that the power elite, both democrats and republicans, use to confuse us and divide us, no one is going to change anything in a real and lasting way. The president, the congress and all their appointed officials work for us, the citizens of the United States. We have abdicated our role in this republican democracy. Until we come together and speak with one voice on the issues that really matter to us what has been going on for the last forty years is just going to get worse. Instead of black or white, male or female, gays getting married, can you own and carry a concealed bazooka or not, we need to start addressing things that really matter and touch every one of us every day. Things like the US being a debtor nation since 1988. 0% personal savings rate in 2007. 40,000 lobbyists in Washington, D.C. Fossil fuel addiction. 40 million citizens without access to healthcare, 20 million of which are children. We call ourselves the greatest economic and military power on earth, yet we rank 37th in the world in health care, we are borrowing money from China to finance an on going, never ending war against the wrong people in the wrong place for the wrong reason, the financial meltdown that taxpayers will end up borrowing for to fix. In a true free market economy those that profit from capital risk also bear the full brunt of capital loss. In our system only profit is free market, loss is socialzed.

If Obama gets elected it could be a shift from the Republican Aristocrisy. GWB could hopefully be the last stupid mother fucker who had a ancestor on "The Mayflower" to be elected President. That would be the best thing to happen to this country. OMG I Forgot they are related!!! No Shit !! Can we ever get away from the "Mayflower" . We have to control the Military Industrial Complex in America. Is it possibly too out control in Iraq with BLACKWATER and other private security organizations. We need a President who can bring America back to American's . Someone to trust are future with!!

The people who would look stupid if Jeb is elected is the America people! After the Penn Square scandal (S&L crisis in the '80s) and the Mortgage crisis now and the privatization war in Iraq, the Bush Family always ends up costing the American people trillions of dollars. The UN would probably pass an emergency resolution for educating and deprogramming the American people. The UN does not usually act fast but then again who ever thought that Fidel Castro would be concerned about the mental stability of the American people as he was when Dum-Dum got elected.

This is my last remark on the issue of race. If it were not for Hip Hop and Rap, women of all races would not be depreciated by the black male culture the way they have been. The vile lyrics of some Ganster Rap and Hip Hop music is what is keeping modern black culture from equalizing with current Caucasian culture. If you embrace trash as a part of your identity, then you will become trash. African American musicians from the past progressed their culture through jazz, rhythm and blues, gospel and more, without dragging down everyone else around them from their culture. They expressed the signs and feelings of their time without getting extremely vulgar or obscene. It is possible to convey feelings through music without offending the majority, and still get your point across.

Well, I think we just have to think positive - obama is doing very well with quick attention/responses and then forging on ahead with the contest. I just hope a fair arrangement is made and maybe they should just split the things with her getting 1 extra delegate
