Obama was a great candidate, but great candidates don't make good presidents. During the campaign, all he had to do was speak, results did not matter, but as president you are judged by results, so far, so bad.

But hey, at least he gives a good speech, right?

It seems as if health reform will end up raising the cost of healthcare, instead of decreasing it. They have no shown any savings or how it will occur. They are merely taking money from Peter to pay Paul. Hiding costs in other bills.

So, it will not be deficit neutral, lower costs, improve service. Don't forget the reason for the public option, to bring competition in the insurance industry and provide a lower cost insurance, yet the CBO says the public option will be more expensive than private insurance, so exactly how will that lower costs? They will all be broken promises. Add in unemployment would not go over 8% because of the stimulus bill. The other broken promise of course is how Obama would change Washington and would be different. Instead he keeps lying, approving the same old Washington bills, and making promises that he can't keep.

Change, ain't it great.

Everyday we see more and more articles about how the numbers from the stimulus created or saved jobs is bogus. The web site says 640,000 were created and Obama says one million created.

It is clear the stimulus bill is a failure and the number of jobs is massively overstated. Jobs have been counted two, three four times, jobs not in jeopardy were counted, and even when the money did not go toward jobs they counted these jobs.

One example was in Mass. a daycare had 64 employees and gave everyone a $2700 raise, an adjustment for cost of living, the daycare says. They counted the 64 jobs saved when they were never going to be cut. This is a reoccuring theme.

If 100,000 jobs were created we would be lucky, if 200,000 were saved we would be even luckier. Billions have been spent, and so little jobs have been created. Obama said 90% of the jobs created would be in the private sector, when taking their data, most have been in gov't.

And now ten months later the president will have a jobs summit. It's like a football team realizing they are losing a game by 40 and with two minutes left, start throwing the ball. I wonder if this will be like the beer summit? Or like the Afghan decision? The experts will tell him what is needed, and he will reject it, because it won't deal with more gov't power.

It is clear Obama is clueless on the economy and how to create jobs. He has no idea how business works or the economy. The reason things will work out will be due to the business cycle, not the Obama cycle.

I saw some of the media reaction, and the reaction to the media reaction of the shooting at Ft. Hood. So many hated the facted that this guy was muslim.

The reason for that is because they wanted to write about a soldier who was over stressed by war and blame Bush and the republicans.

They had that story written a long time, just waiting to use it. They thought they had the opportunity, and find out want republicans have said is true, there is no reasoning with a terrorist.

When the OKC bombing happened the media went full out on militias and how they would take over or try to takeover the country. McVeigh was not part of a group that tried or was planning any attack, he choose to do it. Hasan while very similar to McVeigh was seeking out help from those that wanted him to do harm.

Yet, we won't seek the media do stories on muslims in the US or schools that are anti-US and are happy about these past tradegies. Once again we want to protect the terrorist.

Why would I take my two year old nefu to Vegas?

I will be taking him to Disney Land in January. So, I will be away for a few days at the end of January, now you won't have to worry, you will know why I'm not here.

Were you wondering? I wasn't.

What would you expect from a president who thinks there are 57 states?

No surprise he can't count jobs.

One of the callers to Randi Rhodes show just mentioned Sarah the Sap should have titled "her" book "Going Vogue", I agree.
