You sure there are 3 Republican nice guys in the Bronx? If so you must have gotten ALL of the Republican nice guys. -- Edited by s2grand at 12/01/2009 8:14 PM PST

I'd RATHER have a President who was merely competent at the tasks before him, but, MORE IMPORTANTLY, was ALSO relatively free from the influence of special interests. Tonight I grew up. I no longer believe that's possible. I'M FREE OF YET ANOTHER MAJOR ILLUSION! Making progress. How about you? DaN

s2 If wishes were horses, then beggars would ride. Outlaw BBQ was good. Mac's BBQ also good, and had a dining room.

I would rather have a President that got a blow job from an intern than a President that gave blow jobs to BIG OIL, BIG PHARMA, BIG INSURANCE & BIG BANKSTERS.

The only "crop" that I ever heard about being harvested on Dubya's property was the brush that he was continually cutting. I also heard that the "Cowboy" was terrified of horses and wouldn't willingly approach one- much less mount one. Dumb Dubya's fleet street image as a Texas Cowboy/Oil Man contrasts with his actual background as Maine born and raised Wastrel, with a degree from Yale where he was a cheerleader. His phony Texican accent is probably the only thing he ever really worked at his whole life. As far as his being an Oil Man, he reportably couldn't even find a quart of the substance in a Mobil station.

s2g, Dukakis? Do tell whatever theory you have to spin. I don't really care, but I've lately grown enthralled by these sort of things. Call me a desperate house-husband. Isn't it pathetic? DaN

I'll try to keep my post light and frivolous from now on re the imminent decline of the American Empire. I'll try smileys next time. The sniping doesn't bother me. I have a growing list of Ignorables.
