Agreed. Palin is Bush with glasses. Wait that might be sexist. Dang it! Honestly, I think we are all worrying for no reason. Obama will win. I am off to sleep...you folks have a wonderful night/weekend!

>After the debate was over and they were all standing on stage with their wives. I SWEAR you could read McCain's lips. It looked like he said to Cindy McCain..."I have got to go to the bathroom." I guess that might explain some of those grimaces on his face we saw tonight. Darn! I knew I should have waited to go for another beer! I missed that. Are you sure he wasn't saying to her "I was a pow"

If McCain is elected we're all done for. As you guys have said I too respect him for serving, as I do all troops, but politically he learned nothing from Vietnam. It the same type of war he supports in Iraq and he claims he knows strategy, you don't fight scattered insurgents with IEDs with full Brigades. The really scary part is, it is a real possibility he could kick the bucket once elected. Palin as President.. all jokes aside she really is the female George W. Bush.

"Either for or against me"...sound familiar? McCain (I think) is more dangerous than Bush. Many Americans probably thought McCain looked "strong" rather than obnoxious and asanine.

>Driving shotgun? Does this mean Canada? Or are there other places worth considering? Thinking of options.... Well, it will have to be somewhere close, with the price of gas and all.

Basically, I think it boils down to McCain's inadequacy to have a civil conversation. He has to wage war on his opponent. and since Obama is his opponent....he is a mortal enemy. But, i love the fact Obama keeps his cool.

On a slight side note...I have a friend who is on the fence about McCain. He doesn't necessarily like him, he just can't trust Obama. (It's not a racial thing at all) I think it is more about the fact he is "too" smart. This is the real problem. People don't want to feel like they are stupid, so they vote for people who don't make them feel badly about themselves. Hence 8 years of W. But, how do you even talk to people who think this way? I heard someone say just yesterday that she was voting for M/P because "Palin is pretty". Motherf****r!! Are you kidding me? hahahahahaha Stuff like that sounds ridiculous when you say it out loud but it really is true! It is terrifying that people think like that! Someone said to me the other day that they think that the rich ones (republicans) are the best ones to get us out of the economic crisis! I almost puked!

hlvtca: I find it amazing that we > impeached a president over a blow job, yet we let one > slide over treason and war crimes. oh, and you are 100% right about this!!!!! I'd rather the president get a BJ everyday from a different intern rather than plunge the economy into the toilet and put troops into his daddy's war. I'm 100% behind you on that one.
