Gzndhyt,

It's one of their most powerful propaganda tools, that and Fox. I think MSNBC tried to counter Fox. Air America tries to be an alternative to radical right wing radio but how could we counter it?

I never went to his site but I suspected he was a professional. I gave him the hardest time I've ever given a new person to the threads.

highlander668,
Ros-Lecithin is a Republican party hack, the truth never stopped her bullshit before & it won't now or in the future.

I must admit, I was (preliminarily) impressed by Bobby Jindal's comments on Meet The Press (I think) today. He is (apparently) young, informed, and not an idiot, which makes him a rareity among his Republican brethren.

That said, there's a LONG way to go to any prospective GOP nomination in 2012, including more factors than can possibly be listed here.

Bottom line, if Obama does well (as expected), there simply WON'T BE A PRESIDENTIAL RACE in 2012!

You conservative/right pig-fuckers can take that to the bank!

Only the delusionals will even bother running. I expect a real effort to elect Jeb Bush in 2016.

Just a thought before I rant myself here, if you stop talking about joe the plumber he'll disapear into obscurity. Ok. this is the first time I've posted here. I love Bill and have watched him long before HBO. Something in this 11/4/08 Episode really got me pissed off.

Bill was talking about how disgustingly the McCain campaign attacked Obama. His guest, Rep. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen, disagreed and was asked "What didn't they do to him?" Her reply was that they didn't play the race card and didn't drag up Rev. Wright and his comments.

This is a complete and outright LIE!!! During Monday NIGHT FOOTBALL the NIGHT BEFORE THE ELECTION I started seeing commercials evoking Rev. Wright as a reason to not vote for Obama. Let me repeat this was DURING Monday NIGHT FOOTBALL THE NIGHT BEFORE THE ELECTION!!! This was not local advertising, it was an eleventh hour attempt to throw all civility out the window and win by any means necessary.

Bill is usually very good with his facts, but he seems to have missed this one. I wish he would have called her out on her lie or her complete lack of knowledge of the dealings of her own party.

I'm just baffled, especially after posting the article,Secrets of Talk Radio, that a GOP lunatic distraction like Joe would gather any steam on these threads.

After reading the article, which is really a great instructional manual on the barbarians at the mic, with all the brainiacs here, are you willing to put our heads together to figure out some way to counter the ravings of right-wing talk radio?

Well. they lost this time. Doesn't mean they're going away, but a little insider information doesn't hurt to confirm our suspicions. Media matters. Talking points from the White House, how liberal became a bad word, the barbarians at the mic.

Something about imagining himself to be more than lower middle class and other halucinations, and/or a story of payoffs from the RNC for pretending he really thought that he made more than 250k and would be affected by a tax on the grotesquely rich.

I can just imagine the thrills!

Joe get hired as a plumber's helper and daydreams about someday becoming a big time plumbing contractor. But, that darn socialist brown man wants to tax rich folks, and by extension Joe the Plumber's Helpers' make believe riches as well!

Joe the Brainiac plumber's helper then makes the momentous decision to verbally confront said socialist brown man and tell him off. The nerve of that asshole, harshing Joe's buzz!

The rest is history!

It this extremely tight economy I doubt many copies will be sold, maybe some as gag gifts. His philosophy of life & politics, who cares? No way I or anyone I know would buy it. 3 months, discount rack, 99 cents! Maybe they could give it away as door prizes at Amway (or whatever they call themselves now) conventions. I'm sure Walmart will carry it.

Don't know how many of you read Super Troll David H. Elton da turd's autobiography on his website. Along with being a Super Troll he must be a Super Ego! Here's the link
as you'll see he &/or his family & cronies were probably behind the scenes contributors to the Cal. Prop 8 deal.
Notice the deal vs the Spokane mayor. Elton supports Flip Flop Mitt so we'll probably be seeing & maybe even reading some more of his screed in WSJ, etc.

Just a heads-up about what's coming prior to 2012 election.

Peace4all,

Check this out definitely!
