For T. Boone Pickens: What is the economic outlook for solar systems becoming more affordable for the "little man" building a 2,000SF home (south of the Mason Dixon line). It is my understanding the initial cost for a residential solar system would be approximately $25,000 on top of all other building costs. Will this market become competitive enough to reduce startup costs; or, could this cost become a tax credit or government matched fund for individuals building "green"? Thank you.

Bill, I'm your resident Palestinian biggest fan who also happens to be married to a Jew. I want to know why the media, pundits, and you, have not expressed the appropriate outrage towards those on the right of the political spectrum who have the audacity to blame America's current problems and bad forcast on liberals and Obama when it happens to be republican ideology and leadership over the last 30 years that have dispositively and grotesquely been significant contributors to our current problems and forcast? How is it that people like Rush, Hannity, or even some republican lawmakers have a leg of legitimacy to stand on given the hidious ridiculousness of their viewpoints that have unquestionably resulted in failures.

Is America too restricted or censored? For example, the FCC threw a hissy fit over a nipple shown for a "blurb of a second" during a superbowl. Is America (or its media) too moralistic? Is this something America will overcome, or will this form of conservatism remain for decades to come?

Millions die from tobacco, alcohol, and prescription drugs while Zero have been marijuana related. It stays in your system longer which creates false positives. Not to mention we're wasting billions keeping people in prison for marijuana related charges. If it was legalized, the crime rate would go down and generate billions of dollars in savings and revenue. If we can't do this tomorrow, we our never going to make it. People seem upset that the President is not addressing Wall Street's concerns. To me it seems like Wall Street is a prima-donna and if the traders don't get what they want they complain and drive down the market. Why is it that when the President helps homeowners who owe more on their house then what its worth Wall Street is upset, but they welcome billions of dollars in their own bail out? Also, this question is for Erin, I've seen Jon Stewart's show this week where he points out all the bad advice CNBC gave (merrill lynch will never go under, bear stern is sold, AIG is undefinable..etc). I love CNBC but it seems like reporters just talk and talk and act like they know what's going on, but they really don't. How can I be comfortable that the advice I hear (and interviews with CEO's) is 'fair and balanced'? (Sorry, don't mean to compare you to Fox)

To William Maher, If America were to go on a 3-4 year Hemp Treaty in which plastics and paper were replaced by hemp plastics and hemp paper, wouldn't that benefit our environment and create green jobs? OH yeah, and save endagered species while helping to reduce global warming... -- Don't Outlive Your Dreams

Bill, love the show, been a fan for years. When do you and your panel think we'll finally hit bottom and begin to recover? The executives of Merrill Lynch should have to give their bonuses back and they should all be locked up. The Bank of America executive that signed off on the bonuses should go with them to jail. Why are we paying under $50/barrel of oil and gas is still $2.00/gal? When we were paying over $130.00/barrel gas was $4.00. The ratio is out of whack and Exxon is still making a fortune. -- Edited by chatycathy at 03/06/2009 3:23 PM PST
