Just putting out a new thread for anyone who wants to get away from talk of politics for a few moments. Do you remember your "first"... Album - "Nilsson Schmilsson" 45 - "Family Affair" (Sly and The Family Stone) (Note: If you have to ask "what's a 45?", you cannot play) Car - '86 Ford Mustang (yep..1986...didn't start driving until I was 36 years old)

PolarGirl, Thanks for the compliment and for playing. I remember "Cinnamon" by Derek. Long time since I heard that one! Here's another "first" to ponder... Concert - Geroge Harrison Dark Horse Tour circa 1974. Chicago Stadium. Two sets with Ravi Shankar in between.

The first album I remember buying is Elvis' Greatest Hits when I was 5, lol. Used to watch the movies with my great aunt and loved him. My older colusin was into the Beatles, and Beatles albums are the next ones I remember. Even though I wasn't born until 1968, I was pretty much all Elvis and the Beatles 'til at least 4th or 5th grade. First one not Elvis or the Beatles I remember buying was Pink Floyd's The Wall in '79. I was 11, and bought it with my paper route money...first one I can recall buying with my own cash! First single? Yikes, I think it was Shaun Cassidy's "Da Doo Run Run." No, maybe Seasons in the Sun by somebody Jacks? First car was a 1985 Pontiac Fiero.
