If these boards can support fifty to sixty new threads a month from one individual poster, they surely can tolerate another music thread reflecting the individual musical tastes and a deeper level of conversation about the experiencing of that form of entertainment from the members here. This one isn't about what's on your radio or CD at this very moment, nor a game seeking repetition of words in a song title. It's asking for you to post examples of your particular tastes in music and musical artists through the times of your life, your knowledge of them, why you like the music you've chosen, as well as posted examples of that music for other board members to experience and enjoy. Surely, as one of the arts, music - with all its infinite varieties, genres, artists and themes from the beginning of time - resists the effort to pound square pegs into round holes like no other. Hereby, let it be resolved that "music" as an entity in and of itself, should have a thread of its own. Make Your Own Kind of Music - Mama Cass Elliot Enjoy! Cleo -- "All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing." Edmund Burke "I have spread my dreams under your feet; Tread softly because you tread on my dreams." From "He Wishes for the Cloths of Heaven", W.B. Yeats -- Edited by CleopatraVIII at 03/25/2009 3:25 AM PDT
