Hello Flipping through the hundreds of chennels last night, saw Bill Maher with Barney Frank so I watched for a while. I almost threw up. I pay for this crap?? Well, not anymore. I got to thinking, I have had HBO for 15 years, and didnt really watch it much. I kept it for the Sopranos and Deadwood. This guy is sick, making jokes about Jesus and religion, and the audience all laughing , with this Barney guy babbling next to him. His comments on Texas, according to Bill, and HBO I guess since they have him on, is basically if you dont agree with his idiocy , you cant get medicine for swine flu. I cant believe people agree with his views. Well I will not pay for this Left-radical crap anymore. after 15 years, I am dropping HBO. Thank-you Goodbye

hmmm...you watched the degenerate tit licker and Al talking to an Indian Chief's head on Deadwood, he cruelly nicknamed a woman with CP "The Gimp" (part of her job was to clean up blood)...plus the assorted murders( one of a pregnant woman) on the Sopranos, but Bill Maher makes you sick?

You could probably get a lot of teabags for that $15.

Good decision. Your $15 per month would be much better spent augmenting your Guns 'n Ammo collection or getting back issues of Hot Christian Babes monthly. You really have no business wasting it on political humor or sarcasm, which you plainly have no facility for. -- Daniel HBO Forums Abuser

He must not have been listening to what Bill said about Texas anyway. His point was the Texas Gov. was talking about succeeding from the union....until they need the federal government for Tamiflu. You can't have it both ways. As stated, typical neo-con, only hear what they want to hear. -- _________________________________ "They that can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety" --Benjamin Franklin " A Nation without borders is not a Nation" --Ronald Reagan

If you truly have been an HBO subscriber for 15 years, then you know that Bill Maher has been a featured special program on this network for the past five. Considering the other programmatic offerings that would arguably offend your right wing views, this trashing of Bill Maher strikes me as more than a tad disingenuous. In fact, a cancelling of your subscription after one viewing of Bill Maher following the airing of documentaries depicting the GOP's wingnuttian fringe and the ease with which the GOP could have stolen elections by tampering with computerized voting machines, as well as dramatic programming exposing the games played by the GOP in stealing the 2000 election, and a special with Will Ferrell making fun of your icon, W, makes me wonder if you're not, what's the word? uh, lying just to have a convenient excuse to post on Bill's message boards. Buh bye. C. -- "All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing." Edmund Burke "I have spread my dreams under your feet; Tread softly because you tread on my dreams." I don't agree with a lot of what Bill says-I think faith is personal and I felt bad when he called Susan Boyle a troll-but he bring up good points on the environment. I also like the way he calls bullshit on things like pot laws and punishing non-violent pot smokers.
