McCain VP selection

As you know Barrack Obama texted and e-mailed his selection of Joe Biden as VP choice. John McCain is trying to go Obama one better by announcing his selection by Pony Express.

Well, here it is, if the report is true

Alaska Gov Sarah Palin, who is younger and less experienced than Obama. So much for McCain being able to continually skewer Obama for his lack of experience.

Looks like he is trying hard to poach some of those female Hillary supporters who are still PO'd and holding out

(I'm watching CNN.) I sincerely have to give props to John McCain. He has made his VP choice. He was asked why he did not make the announcement. He replied, "Tonight belongs to Barack." That is a classy move on his part.

McCain should make his choice today. What is Obama going to say in his speech that is really news? Thankyou? Change? Hope? I am a dirtbag muslim terrorist baby killer who served 3 years in the senate most of the time i was absent and I voted straight party lines? Thankyou Clintons? Joe Biden who disagrees with me on most foreign policy issues and said I was too experienced will help me as my running mate? Right there I summed up his entire speech and you dont have to watch it. If McCain has a Romney or Pawlenty lined up then he shouldnt announce it today I agree. If he had someone out of left field or someone who would be ground breaking or feminine he should announce it. Whats bigger news, that McCain chose Palin, Jindal, Powell or Watts or that Obama gave a speech accepting a nomination he won months ago...which he previously gave an acceptance speech for.

A lot of prominent reps are not attending the convention because they don't want their mugs on TV and associated with the GOP brand right now.
t; Cheney's supposed to speak.

I don't think many people care. The GOP base will vote for anyone he chooses and there's none of the suspense in his campaign like the drama of the Obama and Clinton competition.
