I am very excited about The Road. Some parts were filmed here around Mt St Helens and Spirit Lake.

there's an actor named Stephen Graham, he was in Snatch and This is England. I would definitely not kick him out of bed.

Johnny Depp? Really? I don't like to objectify men, but I'll make an exception. Alexander Skarsgard is the sexiest man I have ever seen.

One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest, my all time fav.

Kirk Douglas originated the role of McMurtry on Stage. But it wasn't until his son Michael took the project on that it secured the money needed to make the movie.

Diner.

A simple movie with no special effects that launched or advanced the careers of: Steve Guttenberg, Daniel Stern, Mickey Rourke, Kevin Bacon, Timothy Daly, Ellen Barkin, and Paul Reiser.

Just noticed that the theater near here is packed with kids going to see "New Moon". Good idea. More movies about bloodsuckers will help prepare the kids for law school.

I've never been able to sit through "It's a Wonderful Life" and doubt I will this year.

I concur, the colorized version is awful.

Would I be labeled as "UnAmerican" if I admitted I've never see that? I probably watched it as a wee one, long before I was able to appreciate the subtle art of cinema. Maybe I'll make a point to watch it this season.

How about the Macys Thanksgiving Day Parade in Miracle on 34th Street?
I watch the Alastair Sim version of A Christmas Carol every Christmas eve.

Enhanced Interrogation Techniques
Dick Cheney has recently threatened to not cooperate with a Justice Department probe. Since we are in a time of war and they are trying to find out information of national security, would enhanced interrogation techniques be appropriate?
