It aint over yet. All the dirty Youtube tricks in the world don't spin into a win untill America votes and even then I am willing to bet real money he will not become the President. The spin is pretty pathetic, especialy here where the name calling and belittling is beginning to pick up pace. Is America ready for a black man as President? Absolutely! To bad one isn't running.

The Democratic Party..... will look pretty stupid..... when Obama loses .... with around 20 percent of the vote....... but then again he is G.W. Bush's and Cheney's cousin..... so then Diebold might have something to say...... IF IT LOOKS LIKE A DUCK AND WALKS LIKE A DUCK IT MUST BE A DUCK

> The spin is pretty pathetic, especialy here where the > name calling and belittling is beginning to pick up > pace. Not only is this spin pathetic, it's politically ineffective and probably counterproductive. Did Obama and Clinton trade campaign staffs? It used to be Clinton doing everything wrong. Now it's Obama. Obama's campaign(which I support, by the way) is trying to convince voters that Clinton is all but done. They must not realize that the American public loves an underdog. They should know, it propelled him to victory in Iowa and to defeat in New Hampshire. Plus the media loves to keep the narrative going (even if Clinton's nomination is unlikely), so attempts to paint Clinton as fighting hopelessly fail because the media doesn't want this campaign to be over, so they will emphasize the fact that it's not. So, when Obama (I should say his campaign, not necessarily himself), tries to paint Clinton as a desperate and hopeless fighter, America doesn't see desperation or hopelessness, they just see a fighter. -- "We mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes, and our sacred Honor" --Declaration of Independence

I think its a bit of a stretch to say the rep from Indiana is overturning the will of his people, when the primary isn't even held until tomorrow. Even then, since it isn't a caucus (I believe all the caucuses are over??) we won't know how many independents & Republicans might vote. Secondly, I only knew Dean because of that banshee scream for years. Maybe he is as ruthless & methodical as you suggest Rove is, but using that ridiculous climax to an otherwise awesome speech as justification doesn't seem appropriate. -- Invest in your future.

Just a thought.... I understand that the DNC is a private club. I get that they have the right to make whatever rules they want to in order to present the candidate they choose to be President. That said, how does that reconcile with their position on the 2000 Presidential race, when, they maintained that the Electoral College was subverting the will of the people and the concept of one man, one vote? See, this is where I have the issue. Democrats want so desperately to have people believe that they are these egalitarian paragons, and yet, we get folks like the representative from Indiana who's already decided to disregard the will of his people, and vote as a super delegate for Obama, ostensibly because he's a supporter of Mitch Daniels, who he believes Obama has already chosen as his VP running mate. Hmm..... So much for egalitarianism. Republicans take it on the chin because folks in their camp like Rove have been honest enough to not hide behind the pretense of ethical, civil, behavior. Can anyone here say, with a straight face, that Howard Dean isn't as methodical, as rutheless? One can certainly say that there aren't video highlights of Rove out there screaming like a banchee?

The Dem race is over and Obama has won...Obama chooses to be the adult in this race and so he does not challenge Clinton's wanting to stay in the race. However, the defection of people from the Clinton camp to the Obama camp and her inability to raise & retain as much money as Senator Obama (even at this late stage) should send off major bells to anyone...

Huge year for Dems. McCain will not only go down like a house of cards, he's going down right now like a house of cards with all the mistakes he's making (and the focus is not even on the dude!). When's he up on the debate stage with Obama, people will take one look and it'll be over for McCain
