Obama promised diplomatic solution. Do you think Iraq is stable enough for a small military presence? What do you think he can say to the Iranians to diffuse our current intensive sanctions and threats of war? A pullout treaty must include certain agreements with Syria and Iran. Zbigniew Brzezinski, now Senator Obama's top foreign policy adviser, had indicated our presence as the problem and the ethnic vulnerabilities between two neighboring countries would make them inclined to negotiate with us. However, most pundits agreed Iran has gained far more regional power and influences subsequent to our invasion, thus they actually have certain advantages over Bush's failed policies. What kind of demands do you think the Iranians will make to normalize our relationship again? Do you think Iran will translate this advantage to influence Palestine and Israel negotiations?

I read somewhere over the weekend, maybe in the NYTimes, that Iraq's oil production was back to pre-war levels. That's a very good sign.

I hate to just paste a blob of crap here, but I mind as well go along, since everyone else is doing it. Sanctions and threats do hurt. Obama cannot talk to the Iranians because we've already talked to the UN or everybody else and are currently punishing them through sanctions. In a way, we're already at war with Iran. Lets just talk to them and tell them how sorry we're about everything? Democrats are bunch of cracks. -- Edited by infoseek at 06/23/2008 7:29 PM PDT
