October 16 Season Finale

My husband & I dote on Bill Maher because of his intelligence & wit. However, this week we think he was rude to his guest panel (we've seen this before). It was evident that he was not pleased when his guests didn't agree with him on the points he was making. I thought the three guys, Matthews, Baldwin & O'Malley were good panelists; pleasant & well-informed men who had a right to their opinions. Bill seemed "cold" to their responses. Shandling, on the other hand, is always annoying & seemed to be in outer space. New Rules were excellent. We will miss Bill while he's on hiatus & think of him every time new News pops up & will want to know what he's thinking. February can't come soon enough for us.

I feel the same on all points. It was an off night for Bill as he was upset about being criticized for his vaccine stance. None of us can agree on everything all the time. He's still great, funny, so smart. It will seem like forever till his new season

Let's just hope he comes back refreshed. But let's face facts...although he has criticized Obama on a few items, he has a LOT LESS material to work from than he did from the former administration in DC.

Caroled,
Iv'e heard several Bill watchers say they think he's been off his game for the last few shows. He seems tired to me, good timing for him to have a break.
I too agree with most of what Bill says but there has been times he's been really rude in my opinion. Or behaving below what I have learned to expect from him.
It will be a long wait for Feburary, that is fore sure.

Enhanced Interrogation Techniques
Dick Cheney has recently threatened to not cooperate with a Justice Department probe. Since we are in a time of war and they are trying to find out information of national security, would enhanced interrogation techniques be appropriate?
