This thread may die a quick death here on the R/T threads but I thought I'd give it a shot anyhow. Got a favorite NFL team? Mine's the San Diego Chargers. I predict here and now that 'Da Bolts' will win Super Bowl XLIV, Feb 07, 2010 in Miami. I must confess, I've been predicting the same thing for about 30 years straight, (OK except for when Ryan Leaf was QB) and I've never been right. I've gotten used to the taste of crow but, hope springs eternal.  I like SD's chances due to the return of LB Shawne Merriman, the signing of 1st round pick LB Larry English and 4th round pick DT tackle Vaughn Martin. Plus former all-pro CB Antonio Cromartie should return to his 2007 pro-bowl form playing without the broken hip that plagued him last year. sort of..I was cheering NYG on becauise I wanted to be right when I posted last week the the Giants were the best team in the NFC... but I am also glad to see Saints and Brees do well....
Brees got a raw deal here in SD

Oh God.. I was just SICK yesterday... I mean, they definitely came to play and win it... the Giants defense looked horrid!!! They totally deserved that loss!
