ARE YOU READY FOR SOME FOOTBALL?!?!?!

This thread may die a quick death here on the R/T threads but I thought I'd give it a shot anyhow.

Got a favorite NFL team?

Mine's the San Diego Chargers.

I predict here and now that 'Da Bolts' will win Super Bowl XLIV, Feb 07, 2010 in Miami.

I must confess, I've been predicting the same thing for about 30 years straight, (OK except for when Ryan Leaf was QB) and I've never been right.

I've gotten used to the taste of crow but, hope springs eternal. :)

I like SD's chances due to the return of LB Shawne Merriman, the signing of 1st round pick LB Larry English and 4th round pick DT tackle Vaughn Martin. Plus former all-pro CB Antonio Cromartie should return to his 2007 pro-bowl form playing without the broken hip that plagued him last year.

The regular season starts in just 30 days on Sept 10!!!

Freakin' Aaron Rodgers! What an arm! How in the HELL did Green Bay hang on to what's his name for as long as they did? Must be a good sign that he's (Rodgers) clean shaven now as well.

Bears-Packers rivalry might finally have some umph! once again with gunslingers Rodgers and Cutler throwin' 'em up. And Minnesota's got Adrian(!) and that other guy. I'll take Packers Bears 1-2, with the Norseman a dissapointing third, and the Cubs...

It's quite alright. As a lifelong Browns fan, one gets used to disappointment.

Yes! Two really physical teams. My kinda football!

Really hope you start winning so we can!:-p

True, the defense is not the same without Troy, but still pretty damn good. We survived a few weeks without him before, and we can do it again. Just hope it is the MCL as they suspect.

We shall meet again! It was a great game to watch, couldn't really ask for a better season opener even before that great drive at the end there. Just make sure you keep winning without Troy, because I REALLY want a rematch in the playoffs. Wave that towel hard.

Enhanced Interrogation Techniques
Dick Cheney has recently threatened to not cooperate with a Justice Department probe. Since we are in a time of war and they are trying to find out information of national security, would enhanced interrogation techniques be appropriate?
