...because we need one. This is just a thread to relax and chat. Anything goes. There are a lot of us here that get a long very well, even when we disagree. I thought I'd make a place for us to say hey, maybe play some music, and just shoot the shit. We can party here on the 4th. Whatever your choice, win or lose, I think we'll all need a drink.

I am kind of a beer snob and am always on the look out for craft beers to try out. Anyone have any suggestions?

My husband was adopted by his mother's second ex-husband, who then married and divorced a woman with the same first name as me. It's not a common last name, so I had to change the name on the accounts at the Vet's office and the damn Newspaper to my husband's name. One time she moved and they stopped delivering my paper.

My mum had a friend whose ex-wife was name Carla...he married her in 1961, the same year Class 5 Hurricane Carla hit Texas. Should have given him some warning about her.

I worked for a woman named Leslie Martin. Her ex married a woman named Leslie. So there were Leslie Martins. I don't know why she didn't change her name back to her birth name. And what are the odds that her ex would meet another woman named Leslie?

(Her first name matched her married name, > not given to her at birth that way.) > LOL - That's funny! In high school I knew a Ben Gay (the joke - for how long?), Anita Dick (cruel parents there), and my all time favorite random name I've heard - Sharon Peters. One time friend of mine named Schilling said "I'm so hungry, that should be my middle name", there happened to be a song on the radio at the time and I said "Did you know this guy's name (that was singing it) is Peter Shilling? She said "Is his middle name 'hungry' too?" I burst into hysterical laughter and said "God I hope not."
