The RT Bar and Grill

...because we need one.

This is just a thread to relax and chat. Anything goes. There are a lot of us here that get a long very well, even when we disagree. I thought I'd make a place for us to say hey, maybe play some music, and just shoot the shit.

We can party here on the 4th. Whatever your choice, win or lose, I think we'll all need a drink.

My husband watches it almost every Saturday. I was turned off by UFC a few years back when it seemed it always ended in an extended hug, but he assures me they don't let them do that anymore.

I don't know. It was a greatest knockouts episode, so it showed just like the knockout minute of a bunch of fights. That's some shit though. They make boxers look like pansies. Wouldn't say I'm a fan...I don't seek it out or anything. But if I'm watching some at my bro's, can't look away.

I think my husband watched that. Was that the career ending knock out? He talked about it for a few days.

I know, I've been pregnant twice, once while my SIL was also pregnant and we lived beside them through most of it. Didn't like her to begin with, but that really made it worse.

Yeah, they are like a pair of mad dogs let loose on each other! UFC is my favorite blood sport. Much better than football. :-D

They are actually moving closer for many reasons. I don't mind helping but you're definitely right about the ammo.

Some things aren't suppose be complicated but they are.

Is that Dexter show any good? I've been watching RT and CYE only.

The concert on HBO was excellent. You know, any singer who sings with Bono got balls but still no comparable voice.

My bro loves that...we watch together a lot. I can't believe how long it takes the ref to step in sometimes. Dude will be half cocked, delirious, on the ground, and the ref will let the other guy get down and pound him in the face a dozen times before he steps in.

We watched a greatest knockouts epi the other night. The guy took a kick to the head that knocked him out before he even hit the canvas, yet he still took a pummeling to his uncoscious face before the ref stopped it.

I was in Prague one summer and found a place that served it...the only time I tried it, but man did it F me up, and I've never been a lightweight drinker.

I know, they get really stingy at the end with the previews.

Oh, that, yeah, hadn't thought of that. I doubt it, I'm sure Dex has seen the file and he didn't know until he was told.

They are fascinating! One of the guys who works for me attended one in person and was very impressed. He's my only sober one.

Enhanced Interrogation Techniques
Dick Cheney has recently threatened to not cooperate with a Justice Department probe. Since we are in a time of war and they are trying to find out information of national security, would enhanced interrogation techniques be appropriate?
